Thank you , what exactly is a Phrygian Dominant and Super Locrian? are they the same as a Diminished Dominant.?

The phrygian dominant is the 5th mode of the Harmonic Minor and the super locrian (a.k.a. altered dominant) is the 7th mode of the Melodic Minor. I used to play them but didn't really know them by name for a long time until I started teaching. (lol) On a different note I wanted to say I enjoyed your Latin tribute to Wes!!

This is a hand woven cap by a woman in the Peruvian Andes mountains. I purchased it when traveling there over 30 years ago. I started wearing it on my gigs and it became part of my image...it's my "mojo" (lol)

You don't need the root for a chord to sound good. The 3rd and 7th define the chord and imply the root.
