1. This series aims to bring ISL into the public sphere.
2. I am not a professional, and I aim to share with you the basics of ISL as used in Delhi.
3. I would be posting a new video each week.
4. This series is for people who can hear.
5. Medium of instruction will be English. Anyone with a basic understanding of English can gain from this.
6. If you enjoy this series, I would really encourage you to do a proper course in ISL.
7. It is truly a lot of fun to learn ISL and I promise you are investing your time and energy at the right place.

There are many such institutions, ISLRTC, Noida Deaf Society, NIHH etc. (I am not associated with any of these, I am not an expert.) Happy learning. :)

Hi, I was wondering what the gender neutral signs would be. Like sibling, spouse, parent, grandparent...? Would it be simply without the man/woman signs. Like for instance I want to say "my parents", what do I do?

Thanks a lot for asking this. Unfortunately, we don’t have any gender neutral or non-binary signs in ISL. For parents- you simply sign mother father
