I went once in the 4th grade for girl scouts. That was one time too many. I got eaten by mosquitoes, and it was painful sleeping on the ground. Camping is definitely not for me, but I'm glad other people enjoy it. Just make sure your first camping trip is a short one, so you're not stuck in the wilderness for a long time if you hate it. I am not sure how this video ended up being recommended to me, lol. I'm 50 now, so definitely too old to suddenly decide to want to go sleep on the ground with my bad back.
@vickymaynard49632 жыл бұрын
@@jenx5870 I probably cant persuade you to try it again but I'm older than you and love camping however I never sleep on the ground i always camp with a blowup mattress with great sheets and a down comforter and my down pillow :). Food just tastes better when cooked over an open flame and smelling the fresh air. I guess my form of camping is more glamping but it works for me and from the sounds of it it would be the way to go for you too. I'm sorry you had such a miserable experience when you were young and at that point had no control over HOW you camped.

Pod tents as a concept can be taken in a different direction by making them accessible as hexagon and octagonal shapes. Then, instead of them being made of fabric, they'd be made of durable concrete or shotcrete. Now you have a system of structures that are easy to maintain, offer much better protection against the elements, predators, looks like something from the Space: 1999 TV show.
