I hired Suzanne yesterday to help me get through some real sticking points. She is a wonderful teacher and has a great knowledge of Memberpress and Learndash! Also her tip on using sheets has made all the difference in how i look at my courses now. It was a jumbled mess before and now i can find the files right away. I will hire her again whenever i get stuck or confused. Thanks Suzanne!

about the naming of elements with this numbere classif: it seems perfect within an organization but for selling courses, titles should be more attractive. Numbering is useful for admin not for clients. So you showed the best solution for your system but I ask myself the qsuestion: isn’t it possible to use tags or categories to sort courses, lessons, etc .. this way?
@azurintegrated54744 жыл бұрын
Totally agreed with you. Numbering courses will display that on course grid on the front end and that will look absurd and unattractive to buyers if courses are for sell. Altogether great video

Thank you very much. It helped a lot. Just one question: How do you enroll students to certain curriculum with certain documentation requirement and certain points?
@reallybeonline91834 жыл бұрын
That's the easy part! Just allow them to purchase (or assign them if there is no charge) to the appropriate Membership. In the background, all of your LearnDash courses and documentation can be aligned with one or more Membership.

Hi, this video is very informative, I Bought the Education Center Theme, will it work on the theme well? I am very new to Wordpress, i am trying to start a online course website, i am so confused which theme to choose and LMS plugins to use.. please help me to get one, how about the WPLMS theme?
@reallybeonline91835 жыл бұрын
LearnDash will function ok on Education Center. Be careful with the duplicate functionality in Education Centre. I mention this in the video. It tripped me up at first, until I finally realized there were overlapping features in the theme and LearnDash. So, make sure you are setting everything up in LearnDash -- just ignore the Education Center "lesson" stuff.

Thanks for this.. If you have not done either yet. For us what would be the point of integration or would there be? If I install Learndash.. does their membership section have enough in it where I will not need Memberpress? or is it best to have both?
@reallybeonline91835 жыл бұрын
I find that it depends on how complex your course structure and memberships need to be. LearnDash has minimal membership functionality, so if you are implementing something straightforward with a single membership, you could start with just LearnDash and see if it meets your needs. LearnDash comes right out and says their memberhsip functionality is minimal, which is why they have invested in integrations with multiple Membership platforms, e.g. Memberpress, Memberium, and Paid Memberships Pro.

I have uncanny toolkit pro and I am debating if I should get memberpress, buddypress etc for setting up a customer registration and login page which I would require conditional logic and landing page. Please share your experiences I am actually having trouble understanding uncanny toolkit's login process. Any more info would be appreciated

The reason I got Memberpress with LearnDash was so I could set up different curriculums. I needed to be able to assign courses to different job roles. Some courses applied to all roles, and some to just one or a couple. I made each job role a different membership in Memberpress and was then able to assign applicable LearnDash courses as needed. Everyone logs on via Memberpress. I did not have to upgrade to Uncanny Pro to do this, but found some of their free plugins useful. Does this help?

It seems to me that LearnDash has multiple membership plugins (memberpress, paidmembershippro etc). Is there a preferred plugin combination for the case in where I will begin by offering one course for sale (one time fee), in addition to a membership/subscription area where I add a new educational video (not neccessarily a formal "course", but valuable, educational content) weekly ? As I mentioned, I only want to start by offering one formal course Im currently producing for a one time fee. In addition to that, i'd like to have a membership area of my site where all the shorter, less formal educational videos are available and a new one added weekly. Thank you for your time
@reallybeonline91836 жыл бұрын
I would definitely stick with a membership plugin that LearnDash is supporting on it's "Add-Ons" page. Although my only direct integration experience is with Memberpress, I'm assuming LearnDash has approached the other integrations in a very similar way. LearnDash itself actually has the capability to drip content, so I think could be great for you because you no matter when a person signs up for your course, you can drip the new videos to them weekly.
@reallybeonline91835 жыл бұрын
Hi, sorry for the delayed response! I hope you have figured this out. If not, you would host your course in LearnDash and set up your Membership in MemberPress. That membership can also access other private content areas on your site - by page.
@reallybeonline91835 жыл бұрын
@Mr. Master Key This can be done - yes. It's exactly how I set things up for my client in the video. The trick is to set your course type to "Closed" in LearnDash. Then you can assign the course to Memberships in Memberpress so users have to be logged in to access and only users with the assigned Memberships can view. If you set the course to "Open" - everyone can see it. If you set up as "Free" - I found that everyone logged into any Membership could see it (the integration seemed like it might be a little glitchy), but once I set it to "Closed" it worked as expected.

Really interesting! Do you know if With memberpress I can send an email With a link to a concrete lecture and when the student log on he land on the lecture (link) or always land on the same page (home page...). I need that feature because I wanna concha my students by mail and pass them a link With a new lesson every day.
@reallybeonline91835 жыл бұрын
Oh yes, you can link any pages on your website with a specific Membership in MemberPress. So, if you put your lectures up in a blog format, for example, you could give your members (or students), access to the blog only if they are logged in.

Hi -thanks -- Just in case anyone is reading this and wondering, the method I recommend is: First Digit = Course Number | Second Digit = Lesson Number | Third Digit = Topic Number.
