I loved how they put the dsmp characters and details into the video! Also, i've been dealing with anxiety almost my whole life long even when i didnt know what it was back then in my childhood. I sometimes cant get my habits which i usually do out of anxiety because they became routine. When i get anxiety attacks i used to shake my knee very often and moving my body parts like hands and feet to calm myself down. Now it became kind of a habit, i dont do it always but even even when i'm just a little bit overwhelmed with situations i do that. My friends and family think i'm weird but thats just uncontrollable at some point for me and i often forget i even do that

As a person with anxiety, my diagnosis makes so much sense now! I was diagnosed when I was 15, and I always wondered how sooner than that did I have symptoms. But I remember having so many signs, some of the ones in this video, when I was as young as 6! I used to lose all my jewelry because I would take it off to play with it, I never could pay attention in class because of my constant daydreaming, I was a horrible test taker because I could never concentrate on the test or on anything much really. When I was 13, I shot at the wrong hoop at a basketball game because I was daydreaming when our coach told us the way we were going lol. Thanks Psych2Go!

@@day_dreamer473 Reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breath and mind [brain] are closely related causing stress-anxiety. For a better life sit on a chair, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. Slowly the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations. Change happens from within by itself. Day or night, when taking a walk, sitting in a park, when reading, before sleep etc sit or lie down and observe your breath. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

I might have anxiety when it comes to social situations. People talk to me but like...idk I just go blank without responses especially when it involves humor or just letting loose. I can't just let loose 😭 and it saddens me. Idk maybe it's anxiety or just low self esteem that causes me to bottle up everything. I love how this channel educates younger views, teaching them about anxiety, depression, negotiations,it teaches us that we are different than other people. It's a benefit of learning all these symptoms/disorder that alot of people suffer with, it's important that others understand that people aren't doing of a way go be ignorant, it can be a cause of something else that is going on with their mind. You are teaching us that life has its own problems. Younger views are seeing this as opportunity to learn something new. It's a good thing because people might suffer in silent. I have struggled with anxiety for long time. My bad habits with my anxiety. I got blamed saying that "I was doing it for attention!" Or "it's not anxiety, it's your mind playing with you." Its hard to see people not believing someone so young. It feels like mostly no one wants to listen to anyone problems unless it's there own. Also keep up the good work! ♡

agreed, it’s just sad that ppl thinks you are using anxiety for clout and attention when you’re rlly having a hard time dealing with it. It’s extremely overwhelming too! Ig ppl think that way bc a lot of individuals r self diagnosing themselves these days and it’s sad that they’re actually ACTING like they have anxiety. I hope they learn that anxiety, depression and etc. are not for aesthetics and is far from it! Anxiety is a serious case and it doesn’t make a person look cool.

Seems like the majority of people in the comments relate to the daydreaming habit. Personally the one that really caught my attention was number 8, concentration. This one happens to me very often and I’m told to do a simple task then turn around and realize that I have no clue what that person said. All of my problems in my head just get in the way and I struggle listening to others .Thank you so much for the video. I feel like I learned something from this video about myself ☺️

Literally, I didn’t expect dsmp references to be made, but it’s cool as Dream SMP was such a big part of my life last year, as watching livestreams, vods, and videos was an easy distraction and sort of a way to cope during the pandemic lockdown when dealing with my anxiety, depression, etc. I have a large appreciation for the content creators still, even now as it has become something of a nostalgic memory, but remains something that can make me happy and is still somewhat a part of my life.

@@zamas8141 Reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice.

So hey everyone! As someone who has anxiety and someone who suffers from too little sleep due to anxiety, it really helps to write in a diary or journal before bed. That way, you can channel out excessive thoughts or worries and have a good night's sleep. Journaling can tend to be time-consuming and for those who don't have that time, I also reccommend bullet-journaling (events and thoughts in bullet-points). I know that not everyone's the same but I thought I'd share a little something that helped me out personally. Feel free to ask any questions if you don't know where to start! xx Deia

I don't think these things are tied to anxiety. They might just be some habits you picked up. What would you do if you didn't do these things? Probably something else. So don't read anxiety into this. We all have stretches of uncertainty and feelings of inadequacy. This is normal. How to break out of these spirals is to find something to commit to, a distraction, a hobby. Best thing would probably be to connect with a friend or someone you sync with. Sounds easy but depending on how deep you are, it could be really taxing. But think, in a way, you already feel bad and so open yourself up a bit. We are all weird in some way, so find your weirdness and connect to it. Remember, all the happiest people have fears and anxieties too. If they didn't, they wouldn't have feelings and that would almost be worse. Find your thing for now and build off of that. I believe in you!

Please talk to a professional and get properly assessed. For years I was told I had anxiety but things kept getting worse…. Then my son was diagnosed with ADHD and I recognized all of it in me. I asked for an assessment and oh boy do I have ADHD. I went ahead and cautiously tried the medication recommendation and literally within 2 days I STOPPED picking my skin! I had been picking for 25+ years and stopped suddenly. Previously I had tried all sorts of behavioural approaches and then medication including anti depressants and nothing helped. But it turned out that untreated ADHD left me feeling terrible and struggling. Getting a proper diagnosis and treatment (medication and skills/behavioural approaches) made a huge difference.
