The first drum machine I ever used and made a beat on! I had the ASR-10 and couldn’t grasp the fact that u played the samples on the keys! I was used to seeing the SP 1200 MPC 60. So the ASR-X seemed to fit better! Later I learned what a priceless gem the ASR-10 was! But I still mess with the X to this day!

Man, this vid makes me miss my "red box" that I had years ago. I had replaced the encoders, switches, etc. The sonics of that thing's output had a sound that was undeniable!
