I was a teacher with Master's Degree for 27 years. At My job Racism did raise its ugly head. They didn't like the fact that I always wore Braids & African Clothes & taught about African Empires but, I continued to wear & teach. Your and empathetic, I noticed nurses like that have issues in the hospital even though nurses are supposed to be empathetic. It is a cut throat business 😅.
