well.... now u know why UK/Britain is such a boring, pessimistic, capped/limited society. -_- everything is decentralisd. Salaries IN GENERAL are capped and/or nraketed. from healthcare jobs to retail. its all controlled and governed, my dear. U either conform, or u will have a hard journey in the UK. People keep saying healthre in UK is free, but it is not true: the pay is taken from your paycheck monthly.
@AyesatuG2 ай бұрын
so true... indeed the pay is taken out of ones Paycheck.

Just came across to your video. You did a deep good research and everything that said is true (sadly 😢). Even now things are getting worse for nurses in the UK, unfortunately. Only God knows when the UK government will listen to us nurses. Also, I am a new grad, just graduated last December 2023 and seeing you saying that a cashier in Walmart earns more than me! wow that was one of the confirmation again for me. Also, is true, you guys in the us study general nursing. However, us is not general. I did 3 years of adults nursing and I i had my clinical placement in : inpatient community, community nursing (what you in the US call Home Health), I did surgical, medical and critical care (icu cardio-thoracic and ER) I was blesses to have all thoses clinical placements, however is not all student who get it. Also for you is easy to work as a nurse in maternity (labour and delivery) here in the uk is not easy (to not say, not possible), you need to be a midwife , because they been trained for women health only. But, because I i love women health so much and dreamed to work in maternity, after lots of prayers I managed to get a job as a band 5 staff nurse in maternity (postnatal and delivery suit) I will star in few months. And if you ask my fellow uk nurse they will tell you that is very rare. Anyway, I hope you got more information. But definitely in the future God willing, I might come to work as an USRN. Stay blessed and continue the good work 💪🏽 🙏🏽.

@@lovlydy1470 First of ……..A big congratulations 🎈🎊 on your new job!! Maternity nursing is indeed amazing. I have heard that as well ….that UK nursing is more based on specialities than us that study general nursing which makes transition to any specialty a bit easier. Thank you for the info as well 🫶🏽greatly appreciated 💕…. Hopefully we can stay in touch so that I hear all the great things you get to do in your new role🎊🎈. Again thanks for watching 🙏🥰

NO WAY in uk we have 1:4 ratio. Maybe "officially" but in reality at times you find yourself working on your own with 12 patients

It’s poor money management . Poor impulse control and poor vision and preparation for the future. Never date or marry a broke nurse. It’s really sad to see someone have the ability to make excellent money but chooses time and time again to throw it away .

I promised myself never to loose my kindness and be nice to our newcomers. I always tell my trainees : you’ll meet horrible peers and some good ones. Never become a bully .

Also in the US know that some states have mandated nurse to patient ratios , some have unions , and the specific ways that overtime is calculated. OT after 8 or 12 hours (during shift)or if you must hit 40 hours ( week) before you start getting paid OT.
You hit the nail on the head, once your base pay can’t take care of you conveniently, you are simply living above your means

I really don't see what the fuss is about the Gambia. been there 6 times and still don't see what people see. I did a trip to Zimbabwe in December 2023 and it was the best timee I ever had in Africa. there was plenty to do and see from Victoria falls feeding elephants swimming with crocodiles feeding hyienas and visiting ancient monuments like the great wall. I also went over the border into Botswana and Zambia .... next venture will be south Africa and Malawi .... anyone traveling to Africa for the first time I would suggest Ghana first ....

When my mom got her visa on arrival on April 19th, 2023, it was D7000 ($102.90), and she got it for five years, which expires for her on 04/19/28. However, prices fluctuate, so they may have increased it slightly due to inflation.

What kind of documents do u need for visa for going to gambia my boyfriend lives in gambia an he said I might be easier on me to do it once I get to gambia
@AyesatuG8 ай бұрын
I highly recommend visa on arrival !!! once you pay the fee and you have an unexpired passport With a blank page and a Gambian address to give you are good to go. The visa process to Gambia is pretty easy to acquire. They require little to no documentation. Even when applying for it in the states you just mail your Passport to DC w/the 1 page visa application printed from the website & get money order at the post office sent to the embassy in an envelope & that’s it.
