There is a very slim rubber gasket for a bit of water resistance and when you remove back take care to replace as found.

You are right. If you put the gasket wrongly and try to screw back the back cover of the watch case, it can be damaged. Nevertheless, you should not worry that much about it, as you said it yourself, it offers a very small amount of water resistance anyway, and normally nobody should have been planning swimming with this watch. :-) Thank you for your comment.

It always arrives deflated. You have to blow it up. You need a pump and a needle. Also with time it looses air and you have to pump it a bit. :-) But it is really easy. Thanks for your comment.

Beautiful watch I have the same one but I got it off eBay do not go to AliExpress to buy this watch you probably will never get it I was waiting two months for this watch finally had to call the bank to refund my debit card purchase money and ordered on eBay and received in 3 weeks

I am glad that you finally received the watch. I personally have rather good experience with AliExpress and any issues that I might had with the goods were always settled very smoothly. Also the goods were always chipper on AliExpress. What can I say? Enjoy the watch, my friend.

No. It is not included. For all the watches when they state the dimensions of the case, they are of the case and the crown is never included. Actually this case is 44 mm and not 45 mm. As for the crown, if you want, you can replace it on your own, with a compatible crown of your choice. I have a video about how you can do it. Thank you for your comment.

I have heard this many times for the movements that I have bought separately, but it always seemed stupid to me. In order to oil the movement you have to disassemble the movement, it’s like making a movement service! Oiling the movement is not the same with changing the car oil :-)

@@Izou96 With the automatic movement you normally won’t have a second hand at 9 o’clock. Nowadays they put different dials, watch hands and movements together . You should choose the one that you prefer more or buy several of them. The more watches you buy, the more of them will stay in a box and you will have a greater service cost…

I have a Parnis pilot's watch with the same case but different crown and dial. Same movement. Do you still have your pilot's watch? Does it still run nicely? Do you still like it?

There are different types of pilot watches, A and B and some variations of them. This is my favourite version. The watch run perfectly. I really love it! But I decided to try and make the same smaller watch on my own. This is why I sold it two months ago and assembled the same watch in a smaller case. You can check some of my latest videos. Otherwise, for me personally, it is definitely a keeper! Thank you for your comment.

@@nikolaoswatch7489 Like I said, I have the watch. I have the 6497 movement for a reason. I am waiting for a few more tools but I am going to take the movement apart-clean and lubricate-then reassemble. Its a perfect movement to learn with. I had heard that the movement was dependable also so I thought I would ask you about your experience. Once I learn to service the 6497 I plan begin tinkering with Bostoc Amphibia watches. Particularly the 2415 movement. I have several of those now.

@@glenh4971 Normally, the watch movement should be able to run without any problem for 5 years, and if you don't wear the watch on a daily basis, then even longer. The sign of service requirement is that the accuracy becomes much worse than it was. For me personally, if you have like 1 or 2 watches, then it is easier just to replace the movement, because of the cost of the instruments and oils. Obviously if you have 20 watches, it is wiser to do the service on your own. But just cleaning and oiling. If you need a detail replacement for Chinese movement, again, it is wiser just to replace the movement. But obviously servicing the watch on your own is really fun. So have fun, my friend. @@nikolaoswatch7489 It's all for fun. I like Bostoc Amphibia watches also. You can buy replacement movements for 40 dollars but that would take away most of the fun. Why not take them apart? You are right though, watch tools and supply's are expensive. Cheapest way to go is to is to buy a Casio. They are cheap, keep the best time and last for a long time.

@@glenh4971 Actually, you can find this movement for 22 Euro. I personally don't like aesthetic of the Casio watches. There are also fun quartz Chinese watches. But I still prefer mechanical watches. Thank you for your comment.
