It's a great list!! I own many vintage bottles of some on this list-- I might note that the "newer" pink Miss Dior you showed on the screen is not a reformulation, it's a totally different fragrance-- you can STILL BUY Miss Dior but now it's called Miss Dior Originale... It bears absolutely ZERO resemblance to the sweet one of today... You should do a mens version which should include the original Fougère Royale, Pour Monsieur Chanel, Eau Sauvage Dior, Polo Ralph Lauren, Equipage Hermès, Kouros and Antaeus (YSL / Chanel), M7 by YSL, Bleu de Chanel and finally Dior Homme Parfum... Haha obviously I'm biased but I do think many of those are REALLY iconic... Oh I missed le Male by Gaultier... That really was a game changer... Love your list-- ❤

An iconic fragrance that it's going to make history (in my opinion), if it hasn't made it already, is Black Orchid by Tom Ford. I was wondering, when you listen Opium did you mean the original Opium from the 70s or the more modern Black Opium? I think the original one is more iconic, as the other one is more "mainstream" and similar to other fragrances...

I have tried most of these, still wear Angel and very occasionally Shalimar and Poison. Lheure bleu I did not care for, Joy I gave away, Chanel 5 smells very outdated now.

All of the fragrances in this list had something “new” or “shocking” about them during the time of their release except for Miss Dior. Was it just really popular and perhaps one of the most crowd-pleasing fragrances at the time (something like an equivalent of D&G Light Blue or Chloé edp today) which makes it iconic? Or was there actually something different in the scent, marketing, etc.? Or it is because the line continues to be popular to this day?

Shalimar is a conservative fragrance now a days, but try the extrait and a vintage at that and you’ll get a very shocking perfume. Dirty and animalic
