I smelled for the first time yesterday in Sephora "Red Roses" by Jo Malone. For anyone who loves a true classic lady pure red rose, it is such an incredibly rich and beautiful rose smell, and eternal for a cologne, as I wore the same sweater grocery shopping today and could still smell it of all the fragrances I tried yesterday. As for fragrances I currently have I must confess Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois with it's spiced plum with florals is the epitome of class and classical; and another rose pick, Malle's Portrait of a Lady. Masterpiece forever 😊. I have a decant of Panettone on the way based on your suggestion. Can't wait to smell it!

I have a funny little story about Samsara. It was all the rage when I was a little girl and my best friends mom wore it. In America at that time the group of fragrances called "Orentials" not sure if they are still called that but Samsara and the original Opium fit perfectly! Think of the Show "Dynasty" and "Dallas" that were the rage of American wealth at the time. Anyway, I had a sleepover at my friends house and my budding love of perfume made me drench myself in Samsara then crawl in bed next to my friend for our slumber party. Bless her I thought she was going to choke as she had asthma and was very sensitive! I was a bit upset because I felt I smelled like a sophisticated diva ready for my bed! I pictured myself wearing a long flowing red robe with feathers and heels ( actually in my child nightgown!) She kicked me out of her bed and I made a little sleeping bag fort on the floor!! Sigh......funny how I can smell it in my "minds nose" and laugh about that memory!

Poison and original Opium and Coco but I’ve finally started venturing into new! My fav new classics ? Gris Charnel I finally got and feel amazing in that! Chanel 5 Leau in spring summer. Thank you for featuring Serge Lutens! I have and love Chergui and they sent along a sample of Fleur d'Oranger. Fabulous. Hard to think of Chergui as gourmand, though. It's mostly an ambery, honeyed tobacco for me and reminds me of Fall - hay, smoke.... I can see why it's named for a wind over Morocco!

House of Boucheron. My all time favorite. The Original. It is getting harder and harder to find in the States. You love bottles, look at this bottle! Boucheron in particular is my winter/Christmas fragrance. I could smell it all day. So I have that and I currently also wear Mon Guerlain as well. I am on my 3rd bottle. Very sexy. Samara is gorgeous, always, always reminds me of Christmas. That one, too I could smell all day. I will probably try the first fragrance you showed Coco Mademoiselle EDP Intense because you said the dry down is so gorgeous! Maybe Chanel L’eau for a refreshing scent. I wore Coco Chanel for several years, ooooo what a classic!

I have a few classics that I love - Chanel No 5 L’Eau Premiere, Shalimar Millesime Vanilla Planifolia and I recently discovered Tabu by Dana, that one is to die for, very nostalgic to me, it reminds me of my time in India. I also love Le Lion and Coromandel, but I still don’t have a bottle because I’m trying to decide which one I like best. They’re too similar to justify a bottle of each. And, of course, Mon Guerlain Intense, my love! ❤

Thanks MC! You talk about new perfumes alot. But which is your top 3? Viewers are always confused!? I look for unique odors like myrrh, oakmoss(cool,low air?), osmanthus, orange blossom... A story. Oh that’s a bummer! That one lasts on me and kind of becomes one with my skin, maybe you’ve become a bit nose blind? I’ve never had any issues with even new Chanel lasting! I find some may find them old fashioned? But I just think? They’re super unique everyone smells same Lately!? And for me they last! Ask you SO if they can still smell it? I bet it’s nose 👃blind ha
