ABOUT JURASSIC WORLD: EVOLUTION
A brand new Jurassic World video game - Jurassic World: Evolution has been announced. Coming in Summer 2018 this park builder for PC, Xbox One and PS4 is going to let us finally build our very own Jurassic World. A sort of sequel to Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and the Jurassic World film, Jurassic World Evolution will contain a bunch of dinosaurs including the Tyrannosaurus Rex Rexy, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Indominus Rex, Indoraptor (okay probably) and more. Jurassic World Evolution will release alongside Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom in 2018 and is the top upcoming dinosaur game for 2018.

You didn't see a day-night cycle, BIS, because there isn't one. The different islands are set at different times, like one at dusk, and one midday (I guess), to give them more "flavor". I learned this from James' video. Unfortunate, but I guess it makes sense.

Crichton wrote a fair number of classic science fiction books before JP, particularly The Andromeda Strain, and wrote the screenplay for great science fiction films like Westworld and Coma (and, erm, he also did Congo). He wouldn't be the first non-palaeontologist to have a dinosaur named after him. I like the idea of his Jurassic Park novels being either "based on the true story" like his Great Train Robbery book, or inspired by them like Eaters of the Dead/The 13th Warrior was based on Ahmad ibn Fadlan's adventures in the lands of the Vikings.

Whether you're pre ordering the deluxe or standard, you get the skins...and just the skins... ~If you pre order the Deluxe Edition, however, you get the skins *PLUS* a pack of 5 dinosaurs that, presumably, you otherwise would not be able to get. ....until upgrading to the deluxe edition at a later date...I would imagine... Given the price difference isn't _that_ much, if you can spare the extra cash, you might as well just go full Deluxe if you're looking to maximize your game.

That's exactly what I'm doing, an extra five bucks for all of that extra content is fine in my opinion. It's not like the game is being filled with microtransactions like I see so many games saturated with in today's market. Plus the dinosaurs that come with the Deluxe Edition are cool additions, most not being hugely known to the public.

The ch in Crichton is silent. It's pronounced cry-ten. Aside from this smartassery, the game does look good, the dinosaurs especially, but there's just something too plastic about the buildings and enviroments, and the guests are horrible looking and have terrible AI (e.g. all walking into/through each other in a cluster). There are also way too many guests. I hope this gets fixed, but three months isn't that long.

They maybe looked like shit but they interacted with things and had names and stuff. I am really hyped for this game but it simply can not be that certain gamemechanics are worse than those from over 15 years ago . The overall Design as such is not even that appealing. Jpog was far from beautiful but you could always differantiate between Buildings / Dinosaurs and etc. Jwe looks the same in every aspect . Buildings have the same colour pattern and structure aswell as the game itself. Everything has this Blueish bloom and the Menu .....well the Menu is just lazy man. Dont get me wrong, I rly like this Game and i will preorder it anyway but we as players/audience should definitely encourage our criticism.

Yeah, the game does not look finished at all. Not only because of the colors and horrible guest AI, mostly because everything but the dinosaurs looks way too sterile. Not something fixable in just under two months if I'm any judge. I'm hyped too, but it honestly looks like they forced it out. Should have taken another 6-12 months for development, this way it really seems like they set themselves an unrealistic deadline just to release it alongside the movie.

ammsamdoij In a 2018 AAA park simulation, I expect the guests to not all look exactly the same, form massive, ugly to look at blobs of people and literally walk through each other, stumbling around with seemingly no direction. I don't want the game to fail, quite the opposite. But these guests are unacceptable in a 2018 game. Even JPOG did them better 15 years ago. It won't ruin the game for me (the main focus are the dinosaurs, and they look great), but it's a massive immersion breaker, just like the mostly ugly and plain looking buildings.

i hope since this game is said to have all of the islands that we can construct a park that more closely resembles the assets of Dr.Hammonds Jurassic Park....also it would be so awesome but maybe not likely that if we decided to build on Isla Nublar that it gave us the option to play in Dr. Hammonds timeline as if nothing stopped him after the first film from continuing to build his dream Jurassic Park that way they could add a voice actor that sounds similar to Dr.Hammond and reprise his character as a mentor like Jeff Goldblum.

I think it would be interesting if there was at least an expansion pack that added Pterosaurs. Maybe aviaries can work where you are given a variety of frameworks of different heights, shapes, and areas to construct. You would then fill up the interior with the water, trees, feeders, gates, etc. and add in the Pterosaurs. If part of the wall or ceiling gets destroyed and they fly out, then that could be something capable of harming the helicopter, just like in Jurassic World.

I personally would love for there to be a building where you can hire different types of guards that could be placed on specific areas to patrol around, depending on the dinosaur they chase it, surround it if it was a bigger one or run away if it was too much for them. you could have them start with electric prods and go all the way up to rifles and maybe jeeps.

Hey Bestinslot they confirmed the five dinosaurs you get when you pre-order the game on their website. The other 2 looks like the indominous rex and the other looks like a baryonyx. The images on the website are very small so hard to tell

Would like to see Indominus rex eventually (apparently, it's confirmed to be in the game), and maybe even Indoraptor. Also, pterosaurs and marine reptiles (complete with feeding shows) as well as raptor training should be in the game.

For everyone that wants to know. The deluxe addition will still be available to purchase even after the game is released. So it's not a "pre-order exclusive" like some are saying it is. Only alternative vehicle skins are.

3:21 that kentrosaurus looks a lot like a trojangosaurus. EDIT: checked again, and it's actually called a Tuojiangosaurus, and it doesn't have all those back spikes. I was probably thinking about Huayangosaurus, who doesn't have back spikes, which looks more like a Kentrosaurus.

No, you only get the preorder skins for the heli and car if you preorder. you can buy the deluxe version whenever you want.

They're just pay walled. It's a sadly common example of finished content being chopped out of the base game and sold back to the customers as a "bonus". Really anti consumer but this is a pretty minor example. Sad that they'd sour what was otherwise a pretty good example of making a movie tie in game done right.

Uncle Snowman Pretty much it's just a way of getting more profit out of the game by giving people what they want but not included in the original version I advise you get it though it'll be an extra £5 or whatever currency you use so it'll be worth it because the dinosaurs are cool :D
