I feel like the Rams might be better served to draft a guy and let him sit behind Stafford rather than put him on the field over Stafford (especially if they're not bad enough to get a top 10 pick). Even if moving on from Stafford is the long-term plan, if they can't cut him next year anyway, there's no reason to consign him to the bench (and throw a rookie straight into the fire in the process); instead, why not let Stafford start while you bring a rookie along behind him (a la Alex Smith in 2017)? It's a better chance of a good long-term outcome and also prevents a bitter split with Stafford.

As a Saints fans, I 100% disagree! Look what Carr did in the 1st 2 games this season. He was elite. When the injury bug started to take out their o-line and Taysom Hill, it was all over. Rattler's mobility helped a little, but he didn't fared any better. But, those players will return, let's see if how a healthy o-line would effect the offense. Could they stick with Rattler and see how he would do with a more healthy o-line? Could Carr get that magic back with his line return? My answer is that they don't pull the plug on Rattler or they'll stick with Carr for 2025.

Can't believe they didn't mention Trevor Lawrence of the Jags....
@D.LeeFrey3 ай бұрын
I could see these other teams as well: 1. Dallas Cowboys. Clearly signing Dak to the extension hasn’t allowed them to get more talent. So a short term deal to bring back Cooper Rush, and trade Dak to a QB desperate team like the Raiders or Giants for multiple picks and the ability to get out of nearly $180 million in contract, while hurting short-term, could see Dallas doing, especially since Dak isn’t considering one of the guys by Jerry Jones. Indianapolis Colts: So far, Anthony Richardson has toggled between dumpster fire and elite. There’s no middle ground. Flacco will only last for so long and the Colts need to cut their losses quickly or continue to be stuck in the post Andrew Luck purgatory. 3. Jacksonville Jaguars. It’s surprising how much Trevor Lawrence has regressed, especially after he got signed to an extension that pays him like he’s elite (he’s never been). Maybe dumping him on a team like the Raiders, Giants or even Rams could restart his career again. 4. Miami Dolphins: The team has seen what it’s offense is like without Tua, and it’s terrible. Both Skyler Thompson and Tyler Huntley have only proven to be end of roster guys, and Tua is one more concussion away from possibly being a quadriplegic before the age of 35. 5. New York Jets. Thankfully the Jets have only more year after this season of Aaron Rodgers contract. Unfortunately, 3rd stringer Jordan Travis is still working himself back from injury and Tyrod Taylor is better as an experienced backup in this stage of his career. 6. Philadelphia Eagles: Ever since his runner-up MVP season which resulted in almost winning the Super Bowl, he’s been inconsistent. 7. Pittsburgh Steelers: Neither Russell Wilson or Justin Fields are under contract after this season, and both player’s cap number will rise. 8. San Francisco 49ers: Brock Purdy is up for a new contract, but with injuries to key players, this year he hasn’t helped the team or himself. Depending on what happens, he’ll get a massive extension, a franchise tag or there’s even a very slight possibility to release him and see what they have for the next season with a rookie and The Passtonaut.

I love seeing Alabama qbs on these lists, because every Alabama qb is either trash or injury prone.

I don't think Carolina is gonna draft a QB. Putting another QB in a bad situation does not seem like something Canalas will do

DeShaun Watson will 100% be the starting QB in 2025. Even if they draft a QB, they're sitting behind Watson. That's 152 mil dead cap, yo. You can not reasonably dead cap him. Not until 2026. Which is still 100 mil, but doable. Broncos just dead capped Wilson for 85 mil.

The fact is whoever Carolina Drafts is Doomed because they have an idiotic owner and the Browns and Radiers HAVE to draft a QB in the 2025 Draft

Stanford and Smith return. You missed the obvious Jets. Long shots to make a move: Cowboys to go with their new coach in 2025 and Packers move on from the injury prone Love. Can see Dak to the Giants and Love to LV

How many of these teams are going to wait on a QB knowing Arch Manning will be in the draft next year?
