I have an SR5 2024 with a 1.5 level kit. I fit 315/70/17 on mine with stock wheels. Then upgraded to an Icon wheel with +25 offset.

Got my 24 sr 6 speed 4x4 in underground color last Thursday I asked for 7% off msrp and dealer cost on extended warranty they cut me a great deal with 2 year maintenance lifetime engine warranty through dealer and lifetime state inspection. I have 300 miles on it just filled tank for first time! Lots of fuckboys driving shitty old vehicles can’t even look at a new 24 but will hate on em. Toyota Mexico assembly plant is there most sophisticated and the turbo 4 cylinder in 24 Tacoma was proven in Lexus vehicles for many years. I feel like I got my dream truck when I was in high school that was the gmc cyclone or gmc typhoon. Turbo stick shift! I love it!

Any dealer can claim the aftermarket modifications caused any damage that might occur with the engine or transmission, and it would be on you to prove otherwise. If you do not want that headache, keep it stock.

I heard it on several KZbinrs videos of the problems with hanging 35's which caused the turbo to overheat and a couple of others that showed the on screen display of transmission overheating. You must know about the tundra recall and just recently there's been a recall on some lexus models. Just so you know how disappointed I am with Toyota. My first car was a celica that I drove from 29 palms to San Diego on every free weekend that I had while in the Marines. That car odometer went around twice before it finally gave up on me. I've had a 2002 tacoma, a 2010 tacoma, a 2012 tacoma a 2014 tacoma, a 2019 tacoma and I'm currently driving a 2021 4runner. My wife has had a succession of highlanders and she's currently driving a RV4. Never in my life that I would even consider Toyota having so much trouble.

What do you think? I’m starting to panic because of a handful of KZbinrs post it which means the millions of trucks Toyota develops will surely have the same issues ya? It’s just crazy to me that every new truck from every manufacturer can’t build a perfect truck with zero issues from the start.

@PillPushaT It appears that the new tacoma is having less trouble than the turbo tundra. You know that the tundra was recalled. Hopefully Toyota will get it figured out. I'm a Toyota buyer, my first car was a celica. I'm just on the fence and holding back until it gets cleared up. So for now I'll keep my 2021 4runner.

Quality has gone down a lot on US workers in manufacturing parts. I called it in 2021. People lost interest and passion because they don’t get paid enough and are depressed with who’s in control of the country. Things will continue to get worse. It’s gonna be a big trend of who can sabotage parts to break faster.

I’d have to disagree with that. Hybrid technology is how you maximize power and improve mpg. Hypercars and exotics have been doing it. The Corolla won’t have a hybrid powertrain to cut costs. That’s also the reason why it only has 169 horsepower.
