For anyone with an off-road, for the strut part it twist off, so DO NOT hammer it. I used a crescent wrench and vice grips while heating it up and it comes right off. Your welcome.

Great video with one exception, prying the axle and control arm down is pre loading the rubber bushings. The final step should include loosening all rubber bushings pivot points, putting the vehicles weight on the tires, jounce suspension then tighten all bolts

I decided all the crap that was on the market that would fail or cause failure I never wanted to be one of those products. So to this day we over build everything with quality and well thought out engineering. I need to know what the height difference between the front and back then we can figure out what’s best for you.

@ Thanks for responding. It’s a completely stock 2024 trd off-road fully loaded with everything in bronze oxide color. Way more truck than I need but just love everything about it. Did my first oil change at 778 miles last week. Do they all come factory with the same rack? I was told I need 1&1/2” spacer. And also heard 1&1/4”…? I just want it as level as possible and hoping that doesn’t put excessive stress or wear on anything otherwise I’ll leave it factory. I realize I would need an alignment afterwards too. Thanks

@@themanthelegend7048 very minimal. Each kit is designed for each model strut for each vehicle. We design the amount of preload is added in each vehicle. We are the only company that does this. All the other companies make their kits to be universal to work in the whole platform for each of the vehicles. This is so they can reduce cost drastically. All the vehicles weigh different so how could someone think that the same kit should be used. We try to enhance the ride to get rid of the body roll and nose dive under heartbreaking. When the correct tires are picked with correct load rating and the alignment is done correctly our kit works great and you will see people write.that they think that our kit actually makes it ride better.

The best part is they are not extended any further then designed from the factory and stay in factory designed operating range even at full extension👍. No they are not rubbing at ride height. The dealers love the kit. A dealer did 2 trucks last week and loved how they came out and how they road and they sold them in a couple of days. Today that dealer ordered $33k in kits and said they are going to put them on every new truck that comes in. They said they have never seen a nicer high quality for the Toyotas. That was really nice to hear from the service manager and GM

@@jackbauer9347 they both use the same parts and design. The Tacoma, Land Cruiser, Tundra and Sequoia all use the same aluminum spindle. Tacoma and Land Cruiser use the same design upper arm. The strut length is a little longer on the Land Cruiser then the Tacoma and the new gen Tundra. So similar and a lot of ways.

@@dlowfromarco2661 with a +25 you want to run a 285/75R17. With a +35 you can run a 35x12.5x17. You could run a +25 with a 35 just involves more trimming.

I Had this installed on a offroad and I noticed vibrations while driving, it's almost like a hum. I notice it mostly when driving 30mph and faster. What could cause this? Do I need a differential drop? I know ICON makes one

@@fraziermedina8488 we are only lifting the truck 2.5” which is within factory spec of the factory axles and struts. After doing testing on diff drops most of them take out more angle then was designed from the factory. This causes the cv’s to push further into the cv cup which actually causes more wear then designed. This puts added load and creates more heat. Most of the time we find that a tire is out of balance and once in a wheel not tru. Usually if it’s a front wheel you will feel it in the steering wheel. If you see it in the headrest it’s a rear wheel. If you feel it in the floor it is usually drive train. Only time I have seen this was at a dealer that just lifted a long bed Tacoma and the slight angle change caused it. Once the angle was taken out they found that the drive shaft was just off on balance.

Have these kits been tested on multiple vehicles without needing an alignment? Can I just install it and not worry about even getting the alignment checked?

You always have to do an alignment after lifting a vehicle and or changing the rims and tires.

@@Ncserv the off road has a 2 piece shock shaft that threads together. This takes place right next to the metal retainer that is on the shock shaft.

Just an fyi for anyone using this to run 35s. You will have to trim the front bumper, remove the front mud flaps and crash bracket.

@@tannerensign513 you will need to do this with any lift companies lifts up to 3”. Also will very how much trimming is needs to take place do to the wheel offset that is chosen. If the correct wheel offset is selected you can run a 285/75R17 without removing the mount and without trimming.

When you lift the front to be even with the back that would be called a level kit. When you lift the front and the rear with what ever brands or products out there it would be a lift kit.

1inch is all it needs! What happens when the shock blows out? Spacer lifts cause more problems on this generation sorry but this is a fad that will burn quick

Spacers are a bad idea no matter what you wheel, doesn’t do anything except make room for bigger tires, no extra travel, etc.
