Nice! Great detail on installation process. Thanks for sharing.

Great video with one exception, prying the axle and control arm down is pre loading the rubber bushings. The final step should include loosening all rubber bushings pivot points, putting the vehicles weight on the tires, jounce suspension then tighten all bolts

And what do the CV angles look like with 2.5 inch lift? Are the bellows rubbing at ride height?
@westcottdesigns4 ай бұрын
The best part is they are not extended any further then designed from the factory and stay in factory designed operating range even at full extension👍. No they are not rubbing at ride height. The dealers love the kit. A dealer did 2 trucks last week and loved how they came out and how they road and they sold them in a couple of days. Today that dealer ordered $33k in kits and said they are going to put them on every new truck that comes in. They said they have never seen a nicer high quality for the Toyotas. That was really nice to hear from the service manager and GM
@jackbauer93474 ай бұрын
@@westcottdesigns That's great to hear. Do you figure same holds true with the LC250 with 2.5 in the front?
@westcottdesigns4 ай бұрын
@@jackbauer9347 they both use the same parts and design. The Tacoma, Land Cruiser, Tundra and Sequoia all use the same aluminum spindle. Tacoma and Land Cruiser use the same design upper arm. The strut length is a little longer on the Land Cruiser then the Tacoma and the new gen Tundra. So similar and a lot of ways.

Have these kits been tested on multiple vehicles without needing an alignment? Can I just install it and not worry about even getting the alignment checked?

I guess technically you can call it a lift kit. However four puck is more like a leveling kit.
@westcottdesigns4 ай бұрын
When you lift the front to be even with the back that would be called a level kit. When you lift the front and the rear with what ever brands or products out there it would be a lift kit.

@@BlueSTI the crazy thing is the more and more people find out about us and understand what we stand for they are willing to wait. We just keep getting more and more busy every day. We pick up 5 new dealers every day and have over 1700 dealers we sell to. That is what is making things so backed up. We never thought we would ever do this much business. We appreciate it. We are running our machines 24 hours now and have 3 other local companies trying to help us. What we are not willing to do is to send the work over seas. Something to think about. To you and anyone else that reads this. If a company has something on the shelf it’s for one of 2 reasons. They are not selling it fast enough or they are not making it here in the USA. As a manufacturer I can tell you without question that’s the facts! The best part is there are a lot of different options out there and so people can wait for the nicest stuff on the market made by people that have family’s to feed or go buy it from some company that is a US company that brings it in from China that feeds their family’s

Spacers are a bad idea no matter what you wheel, doesn’t do anything except make room for bigger tires, no extra travel, etc.
