The secret is out: my new obsession is THE BRONX! Watch my playlist of places you CANNOT MISS throughout all NY boroughs! bit.ly/2XkzMMY I feature the following AMAZING locations in this guide. However, there are many other cool places in The Bronx that I couldn't fit in this guide. If you want me to make a part two, please give this video a "like" and subscribe so I know! 1. Mottley Kitchen 2. The High Bridge 3. Artuso Pastry Shop 4. Wave Hill 5. The Lit Bar 6. Bronx Native 7. Frankie & Johnnie's Pine Restaurant 8. Bronx Museum of the Arts

Thank you for your lovely videos. I enjoy living walking distance from Wave Hill. Next time you are around please check out the restaurants in Johnson Avenue between W 235th- 236th. I highly recommend Liebman's, Bella Note, Aoyu, and Moss Cafe. Also in Riverdale Ave W 235th is Cocina Chente, Tin Marin, The Hill, and Salvatore. Come to Riverdale and check them out!

As a true son of da Bronx, the first 4 are luke warm entries, with #5 and 6 being straight trash. You missed out on places like Beatsro, Empanaology the cuchifritos spot and other local gems that far outpace those places. Pine I can agree with as well as the MOTA but you cannot forget about Bo Gardens, Zoo and other true staples of da Bx. I understand who your audience is but, please for their sake don't let them feel like they goin to Brooklyn....

@@kayp9318 It depends on where you are at in Pelham Bay Park. Central Park isn't all that pretty like many like to say either. They have a lot of beautiful scenery like the Hunter Island Loop Trail and Bartow Pell Mansion. If you go close to Orchard Beach, then I definitely can agree that it is not pretty but it is one of those parks you actually have to take your time.

Puerto Rican.

RellupNorth I thought it was one word when referring to the neighborhood, and two when referring to the bridge. I was referring to the bridge. Is that incorrect?

I forgot the Regents doo wop group was from the Bronx. They had the hit song Barbara Ann before The Beach Boys made the song a hit. BYI, a bluegrass fiddler was an acquaintance is from the Bronx. My two cents. 😀

I was born and raised in the Bronx. It was nice to see places that if I was well off I could visit and spend so much money on. Would truly appreciate if you can do another one of these videos but this time show what most average Bronx people covet and cherish as great spots. Like the parks and certain mom and pops stores that have been here for years that are close to historical but yet aren’t.

Of course the Bronx is worth it!! Anyway, I know Kat who owns Mottley!! We’re buddies from church! Her food is delicious. I wish Mottley Kitchen would deliver throughout the Bronx. I’d support her exclusively like my hairs on fire LOL. I’ve only been there once because my work schedule doesn’t sync with the cafes schedule 😔. Kudos on this video! I enjoyed it! I hope theres a part 2 for this video coming soon where she visits the Northeast Bronx and not just the South Bronx and Riverdale (you know, places only hipsters world care about because of its similarities and proximity to manhattan). We have bay plaza, City Island, Pelham bay Park (including Orchard Beach), the Bronx Zoo. We’ve got the gorgeous Pelham Parkway (the East Coast Greenway), and Gun Hill Brewery. Pelham Parkway is beautiful for a leisurely walk or daily jog, but it really doesn’t get its due. I’m gonna have to make a video showing the Northeast Bronx some love. We never get any love. The Bronx has a beautiful small suburban area in the side streets of Pelham Gardens and Indian Village in Morris Park by Jacobi Hospital. Williamsbridge Road off of Pelham Parkway is a bustling Main Street with great eateries, and same for Morris Park Ave between williamsbridge and white plains roads. We got delicious West Indian food, and we’re just minutes away from Westchester. Sarah, girl, hit me up and I’ll show you more cool places in the Bronx, boo :-). We gotta showcase the whole shebang!
