Got a Alocasia poly May 22 it had 4 leaves and 12” tall in 6” pot. Almost 2 years later it has a dozen leaves and 2 fr tall and it has just popped a flower. I put up barrina 8 Light just 2 weeks ago and the plant is bulging up a little in the pot. Won’t consider repot for several months yet

I got an alocasia heterophylla dragons breath like you mentioned recently and am totally in love. Eventhough it had sooo many bulbs which was a bit overwhelming 😅. It's a stunning plant though.

@unplantparenthood my Dragons breath is a beast! I got her from Tezula last year and she just grows gangbusters and I’ve got over 30 corms this past year. Not sure how hard it is to ship to Canada from US. In the spring I’d be happy to send you one. She grows in ambient conditions. This plant has shown me how important great genes are.

The Alocasia Corazon is actually Alocasia heterophylla as well. Alocasia heterophylla “Corazon”, named after the former president of the Philippines Corazon Aquino.

I think that pattern on the back of your Monstera could be from lack of feed - I had the same thing happen to my P. El Guapo but it’s all good now I increased its fertilization 😊✨

You look so pregnant i don’t remember my breast’s being that big when i was pregnant. My bump was huge and my last trimester sleeping became so hard. I wish i got one of those body pillows there supposed to be comfortable. I am not one for wearing tight clothing i like my clothes a bit loose. I lived in my husbands clothes when i was pregnant at home. Also you wear more summer clothes than winter clothes. Is it very hot in your home? Don’t think i see you wear a coat and shoes when you go out either. I feel weird when i don’t wear a coat or jacket when i go out i feel kinda naked. Like a person when they forget wearing a watch or left there phone at home that kinda feeling.

Your esqueleto is WILD. Mine is starting to size up nicely and grows like a weed but it’s got way longer intermodal spacing than yours and is no way near as lush. 🥲 For ages I worried it was a weedy adansonii masquerading as an esqueleto… I’m still not convinced 😂
