I don’t know how you do this coach but every time I have a question you literally make a video on it the next day you have helped me so much by answering all of my questions sometimes I have so many moves I can use and I kinda confuse my self. Also sometimes I don’t know which press releases to use against different coverage looks and this video helped me so much so thank you coach.

My 9 daughters first year of flag. She’s doesn’t have bad hands but once she gets into live o vs d and she’s running routes from rb pos, she’s misplaying all the balls thrown her way. She gets a little timid when the ball is thrown to her also by slightly turning her head away. She’s improved that but is still misjudging the ball. I’ve had great hands my whole life-I could catch everything whether baseball or football so I’m trying to teach her everything I know but catching has always come natural to me and it’s hard to teach it. Not sure how to help her-I’m just hoping she just sticks with it. Your vids are really helpful

Great video coach! Do you have any suggestions on how I should split up my Drills? (for example speed Drills one day, route running another, etc)

Awesome video, but joining the track team as a wr and running sprints will 100% transfer to the field
@firstdowntraining5 ай бұрын
100% can, my explanation my have not been clear. If you have a bad track program that doesn’t actually work running mechanics or do plyos and things of that nature- I feel it’s a waste of your time. Or maybe not the best use of your time. If you’re on a good track team, then that’s great

And running sprints can always help, I just feel you will plateau if that’s all you do

Hey coach I got a question. I’m a wr and when I look at myself after practice because on my team we record our practices but when i watch myself when I’m getting reps I look all stiff and lack athleticism. I was wondering if you had any tips to improve my athleticism as a wr?
@firstdowntraining5 ай бұрын
Yessir if you search up “first down training speed drills” on KZbin we have some content there that can help!

@@firstdowntraining and the drills shown will further improve my athleticism so I won’t look all so stiff?

This may be an odd question but what is a good mile time gor a WR
@KronosCollector5 ай бұрын
I don’t think that really matters to be a wr since it’s all about quick twitch muscles and short distance speed. My guess would be like 6:30-7:00 minutes

Honestly I wouldn’t worry too much about that: as a football player we never run for that long so don’t worry about your time. I was always in great football shape, never got tired… but my mile time was awful
