I am building a monster EK coupe, but when I was looking for another Honda at first I wanted an EF, but this deal fell in my lap for this EJ8 and I couldn't pass it up. However, I would love to have another DA9 Integra like I had when I was 18. That will be my next build chassis.

Preludes are pretty hard to see and seem forgotten. The EF chassis is another one I hardly see around too. Being my first ride as a teen, I miss the old boxy goodness of the good ol EF’s.

This is an awesome build. I have a 97 EJ8 Civic coupe with a built LSVTEC with a GT3582R dual ball bearing turbo and it made 588 whp on 22 psi, but that was with a bone stock CTR head, and since then I installed Skunk 2 Tuner Stage 3 cams, dual valve springs with titanium retainers, Skunk 2 LMAs, Skunk 2 Ultra Race manifold, Skunk 2 90mm throttle body, and I swapped out the junk AEM FPR for an Aeromotive external FPR because the AEM was dropping fuel pressure. I'm not trying to make 1000 whp, but that's a hell of a feat! I'm still rocking a stock bodied car with no cage, but I have a bunch of supporting mods in the chassis to handle the increase in power.

The width of the front would have lots of drag,So why don’t you just give the front some tubbing (make the wheels closer together. This will double up as keeping the car straight and make it more aerodynamic.

1000 hp vs some family man or woman are trying to get maximum mileage out a non hybrid stock Honda or Toyota. A 1970s Datsun Z and some other Datsuns, a Toyota Celica pre 1985 and all Supras are rear wheel plus it's another family project. Problem solved. What makes one happy. Visualize Whirled Peas.
