“Highly sensitive people are too often perceived as weaklings or damaged goods. To feel intensely is not a symptom of weakness, it is the trademark of the truly alive and compassionate. It is not the empath who is broken, it is society that has become dysfunctional and emotionally disabled. There is no shame in expressing your authentic feelings. Those who are at times described as being a 'hot mess' or having 'too many issues' are the very fabric of what keeps the dream alive for a more caring, humane world. Never be ashamed to let your tears shine a light in this world.” ― Anthon St. Maarten

Love to you too Mike. How did your research go? I think I may be one too. And am probably going to start investigating a little more soon. It's very interesting. I've been told I'm an Empath before, but I've always felt a little different then those people. This is probably why. I'm not an average one, but instead a more rare type. I've always been different then everyone else though. In every way possible really. So it should, and pretty much does come as no surprise. Too bad being so unique doesn't get me something somehow. Like a discount on Tuesdays at least. Like Empath day, or a Unique People discount. 10% off. Something!? 🤣🤣🤣 I'm just kidding of course. And besides it's really very, very rewarding when you help other people out. I do it a lot. I really help one friend of mine all the time. She's really, and truly grown as a person in so many ways. And I've just about gotten her to stay away from bad people that are hurting her. But acting like they're friends. She's also finally seeing that her own family doesn't have her back at all. Despite her trying her best to make up for past mistakes in life.And that's really helped her set boundaries with them. Which is very good for her. She's also becoming more self aware. Which will lead to even bigger and better things in her life eventually. Assuming everything keeps going as it has been, and she keeps her health up, anyway. And knowing I'm the one responsible for that. All while helping myself in therapy and while learning all of the stuff I have to improve my life. That I've shared it all with her, and not only fixed much of my problems, but her's as well all at the same time. Wow! That's simply amazing! And just so gratifying to me. As it should be I suppose. But now knowing this type of thing exists and that I'm not doing just because. I'm doing it because I was likely put here to do it. Well that's really cool, and encouraging. And many times one needs encouragement like that when trying to help others. Because it's a very slow process at times. And the wins are few and far between unfortunately. But if you get help someone who actually is trying to help themselves. They will come eventually. Just have to be patient with it. Have you helped people throughout your life Mike? I'm willing to bet you have. Many times likely. Any big wins to share also? That would be great to hear about too. But I'm really interested in how your research is going, and if you've got any good places to find info at. Sorry for the Novel, but that's just how I roll. 😁

@@veronder Maybe he has no interest in astrology; some don't get it or see how the influence is truly impressed upon oneself. I'm Virgo sun and rising, but if you do your chart in sidereal time, it shifts anything less than 23 degrees to previous sign. It's for accuracy bc sidereal aligns with the constellations - mine is Pegasi, of which is Pegasus, as where tropical aligns with the equinox, seasons. My Pisces' moon instead shifts to 29 Aqua. I am not really an emotional sort, pretty grounded, but I do feel much compassion. I don't let my emotions carry me away, but have emotion, take action with purpose to when I see a need of someone or animal. I have deep intuitive nature, but not sure if that is being so close, on cusp to Pisces or my Neptune 4th house placement. In tropical time is Scorpio in sidereal Libra. I remain a Virgo Sun in either bc it was 28 degrees in T, 5 in S time. My Virgo rising shifted to Leo bc it was only 2 degrees. I def have a bite or roar, able to go in for the verbal kill, if pushed too far on my own territory and zero tolerance for those rude, in my presence, pushing around others that are meek or weak. Fire element for certain : / Not all appreciate me, but the ones that do, love me beyond reason.

I have never come across such an accurate description of myself. It is incredibly challenging to manage both my own emotions and the emotions of others, that are often hard to discern. Often is the case that those who are strongly attracted to me are equally repelled at some point. The commonality is that they all return at some point; usually to apologize and thank me for initiating a spiritual journey. I am grateful for my gifts. It’s just a lot to deal with. spending time alone in nature helps.

Being a Psychiatric RN for over 30 years, i recognized early on i could quickly gain someone’s trust so they felt comfortable opening up to me. Most of my time was spent diagnosing the problem, then teaching the coping skills necessary to move on. I had to quickly learn how NOT to bring home other’s emotions, pain, and problems. I practiced a form of meditation which allowed me to clear my mind so i had no sleep issues. One of the most important things I learned and cautioned others like me, you can’t fix their problems. You can advise and make recommendations, but it is totally up to them to take the steps necessary for self-healing. The old saying, “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink” is critical to understand as an empath. Love to all who reads this and I empower you to make the changes in your life you are looking for.

I'm a 59 year old man. I've become isolated. Lockdown was a blessing to me, I just had enough of people downloading to me, sounds bad I know. I haven't actually met anyone like me. I've tried counciling, several different ones they've all behaved inappropriately towards me. One councillor sat there crying in front of me saying she could see her dead father's face in mine. I've had old ladies tell me what their husbands said to them 50 years ago on their wedding night. Little boys come up to me saying their dad didn't love them. I've had everyone from a gangster to a priest download to me! I don't have a social life, after someone has confessed or told you there greatest sins or problems that's it they don't want to be reminded of it! Half the time they don't know there doing it anyway, they download and move on. I know I should go out into the world but I feel safe in my small home with my dogs and other animals. I cry daily for humanity and for what we're doing to the planet. I fear in the end mother nature will say enough is enough and take a terrible revenge

Being an empath is a difficult life. We take on the pain of others and must learn not to absorb it like a sponge. Depending on the circumstances, this can be a real challenge at times, but the help it gives others is irresistible. We know how good it feels to get back on track mentally about ourselves, most of us have either been there already or fear one day we will. It’s how we give back for the times other empaths have helped us get back up when we feel down.

I would call myself a starseed, but this video absolutely resonates with me too. These gifts are an incredible blessing. In order for these gifts to be used for the highest good, those given the heyoka abilities must choose to accept personal responsibility for their life and seek healing. To anyone struggling with this, I highly recommend finding a mentor or creating a group of others also trying to find what works for them. A mentor could be someone who you can relate to on KZbin discussing spiritual matters such as this until the Universe presents you with someone perfect for you. Seek and you will find. Being an empath does not mean cowering and it is certainly not an excuse. We can empower eachother and ourselves and heal, helping raise our beautiful planet's vibration and get humanity on track for the best timeline possible. May unconditional love, gratitude, and joy be with you... and if not those, at least acceptance. May light shine bright 💖

I’ve had others who love to be around me but when I see what’s really going on under the surface they are afraid to let me in. Yes. I think i am a Heyoka empath. I have realised this after watching the video. I found myself different from other empaths too so i would wonder. Now i know and it feels great to be understood. Always wanting to help others and feeling strongly for them, people would misunderstand me and start thinking i see them as a best friend .It becomes hard to explain at times why i feel and care so strongly and yet look unattached.Thank you Brainy Dose for this enlightening video. Also my unique thinking and way of looking at things would make few people think I'm very weird. But many would also admire it and find it helpful. I would always be like the automatic counsellor in the group. When anyone wants an answer to something that they can't understand they would just come to me and I could explain them too.

I am a true empath. It's very overwhelming and exhausting, but I can't stop my deep feelings. I care way too much that's why the news is really crippling me right now. A psychologist surprised me recently by saying your deep depression is your empathic self suffering from current events. I knew this but never thought a psychologist would know. Which is very true. If someone hurts I hurt. I can feel immediately if someone is not real or doesn't have good intentions. I stay exhausted. I can be duped by truly pathological narcissistic people, an ex boyfriend had me fooled at first until his mask fell off, then I was devastated. I thought empathic people could sense narcissists very well? I attract them like a magnet and now know what to look for, but unsure why the ones I dated got my love and trust? I'm thankful to be an empath but I will never be in another relationship. I can't trust anymore. But, I do identify with the majority of these.❤ Sense of humor too when I'm not down.
@joanaborrellsanchez92252 жыл бұрын
Hey, I understand you. Did you know that narcissistic and psychopath people are attracted to empaths? It's because they have no light in their hearts, they're full of darkness thoughts and fear. Al this darkness is due to a really bad feeling, they need to search "fuel" to compense the emptiness they feel. They're emotional vampires that are living from other's compassion, kindess and light. And you, as an empath, are always prepared to justify and understand the horrible and unforgivable behaviors from the narcissist. It's hard to live like that. I'm empathetic in moderate levels, but I admire the capacity from heyoka empaths of really feel the world's emotions.

The most important parts of being an empath is to find your boundaries, learn the red flags of people taking advantage of you, get out of bad situations, and control your exposure to negative events. Thing is, love has a way of clouding your judgement (why you can be duped). Narcissists can present themselves as a fixer-upper with their behavior, but the reality is that you have such a small chance of fixing them that it's not worth it (Narcissists don't really change). You now understand some of the warning signs, so I'm sure that you'll be better at not being duped. It would be best to first try healing from your hurt first, then see if you can trust again. The world needs lights like you to be lit and shining with how dark its perception has been lately.

This video understood me; And you know, being an empath and a starseed etc makes the world more unreal to you as you get realer and for me, it encourages my differences and perspectives to inspire others. People just start talking to me about there problems out of no where. I'm very thankful to have these qualities of gifts. My ex was trying to change me and telling me to stop being so kind. At the end I told him he can't change me and I will be me and he can stay grouchy. I tried my best to help him. I can only do so much. people can stay mad that's their choice. They need to go through more experiences to learn to have a caring heart. I can feel there still closed minded. There eyes haven't open to humbleness. It feels such a high to be an empath Heyoka.

Yes, I’ve known for a while I’m a Heyoka specifically. And throughout my life, from out of body experience at 4.5, not knowing what intuition was - but still knowing. Exactly what’s been explained here and greatly enhanced in ways since 2019. I’m also a very old soul and have been and am processing so much from the same thread, from as far as 152 lifetimes ago. Also dealing with a wounded twin soul (that’s exhausted myself as this and for healing - showing him who he truly is behind all the trauma and hardened self, but beautiful heart, highly intelligent and skilled.) And I absorb so much from the collective, also predict things and events - and it’s been “too much” for my own empathic system. I have a unique physical “phenomena” due to it - and I knew why right away. Didn’t think it would go on, and nobody knows how I’ve managed the way I have.....List goes on. And the collective in the past 2 years - and I have been “impatient” since little! 😖🙄 But yes here, again - in this time to help raise and heal. Though my human self is affected in a way beyond exhausted. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽😇

I have always had a deeply compassionate feeling towards people, even those I have never met or known but have heard were having a rough time. For instance, if I discover that a small business or store is closing because they couldn't make it, I feel deep emotional pain for them as if they were close friends or relatives. Even when bad things happen to fictional characters, I feel for them when thing's go wrong. I have a particularly strong avuncular love and concern for children, anyone's children. Their laughter when at play is the most beautiful sound I have ever heard along with when my wife tells me that she loves me. I believe that it is the duty of all adults to protect, nurture and do everything we can to make their lives pleasant, interesting, educational, and healthy. Everything we do with children must solely be in their best interests. I clicked off all of your boxes for a Heyoka and I'm not surprised that I did, however, I regard my compassion as both a blessing and a curse. Thanks for a great vid.

I just commented a paragraph on anothers thoughts so I won't repeat the entire thing but I can truly understand what you're saying. My bf barely knew this client just to show her a house but she took her life after making an offer on 1. I sobbed and needed to sleep when he told me. I just don't handle that amount of one's suffering very well. It is very draining as we are all well aware. I'm finding it interesting the amount of comments involving not just intuition but some premonitions and the like. I have had strong deja vu since I was 10 yrs old. It's frustrating when I can't communicate what and why when it happens. A couple of times giving me panic attacks so badly I almost fainted and had to sit where I was standing. Nothing profound happened afterwards so I don't have an answer for why but scares the bee jeezs out of me. Take care and be safe. The world can be rough on us.

@@nicolebarnett8702 Yes, Nicole, it certainly can and is. The age-old, ubiquitous natural system of the survival of the fittest is entirely unsympathetic, never taking into consideration the humane attitude and response. In addition, people like us must be ever vigilant for those who would take advantage of out kind nature. Being empathetic and compassionate should not foreclose wisdom, intelligence and street savvyness. Deja-Vu is a very misunderstood mental phenomenon that most people experience on occasion. It's always mysterious, usually mild, and even amusing. In your case, however, it appears not to be either of the two latter things, but is highly unpleasant, even frightening. If you have not done so already, please seek some help and guidance about it so that you may possibly be relived of this discomfort. From my heart to yours, good health in body and mind.

I mirrored my own self at 30 and then immediately after, my entire life began making sense as I came across the notion of being a empath. My proven to be genuine best friend also has always carried the nickname sacred clown. Lol. We haven't seen each other in like 12yrs but never has it once touched our bond. But i always felt pushed back in a corner. Now I am flying Thru clouds and time is an illusion. Very prophetic indeed but painfully misunderstood. I would bet that most Very powerful empaths can feel a strong connection to distant paths. And dreams That later came to reality and they don't understand how they saw it beforehand. Just a hunch? The biggest shock in discovering you empathic ability is when you realize how much the narcissist army has been manipulating you and all your hidden pain starts to be understood. Then the dam breaks.
