500 rift crystals is very quick and easy to earn. In terms of microtransactions this actually is a micro-transaction, which the game doesn't set itself up in a way to incentivize you to buy it aside from your own willpower to passively earn it in batches of up to 240, or spend 2 bucks

Im new to dragons dogma. But I think its so great and I think this is why. Its got the setting and the art and the general idea of a elden ring or witcher. Its got a party system like lord of the rings or about any crpg. But you dont have to study movesets or crunch numbers or control every little aspect of your party. Its the most casual nerdy fantasy game and thats awesome. Like I love getting into the weeds of games, but sometimes its just nice to enjoy the experience and not have to work. Its wonderful.

Here's a tip that might be a bug: You can use any healing item just before the "You Died" screen pops up to prevent death in combat, no Wakestones required. So long as you're fast enough with the quick healing item shortcut, you're basically immortal.

Yeah I made the fucking dungeon behind the Waterfall where you crash with the gryphon in one run. Had like 20% max health left at the last boss and would have died several times during that fight if not for that mechanic. I don’t believe it’s a bug just a lil window to react cause pawns can’t revive you and wakestones are rare.

Me too! All the vocations are so unique and feel so powerful! I’m using trickster right now, and it can be so much fun to trick the enemies into attacking each other while I set up the next trick. Forger tip: When you arrive in the town with the forger (Scrap Shop) you’ll likely get a mission to find an object. 2 people want that object so naturally the opportunity to create a fake is going to present itself. What I can tell you without spoiling who to give the fake to and who to give the original to is this: make sure you have a lot of gold on you before giving either of them the item(s). I only had around 5000g and it was not enough to unfuck the fuckup. I don’t know how much you need (because I ran out of money) but just to be safe I’d have 20k with you before turning it in. You may make the ‘right’ choice and not need it, but if you make the wrong choice like I did you’ll want to have lots of gold on you. Or, just run for it like I eventually did. But I don’t know what the consequences, if any, will be. I do know guards lose interest really quick though. Just got to get out of town for like a few minutes.

Not at all, these type of games are the games you want to support. If not when it comes to RPGs we only have crappy bethesda cut and paste handhold quest marker crap with no choices. Only issue with the game which clearly wont be patched is its low FPS. Which is to be expected seeing the amount of systems in place so it is a CPU not GPU bottleneck. Personally I can handle 30 or even 20 FPS< heck the best game ever made was sub 20 FPS, what I dont like is the unstable FPS.

Close all background processes, that includes web browsers, firewalls and anti viruses, you dont need any of that when you are playing video games Defrag your HDD/SDD Disk cleanup (use CCLeaner) Update drivers....or roll back drivers to previous versions Unpark all your cores Vsync on...or maybe off Change resolution You know general PC troubleshooting..... Stuff you should have learned to do using a PC for anything other than general web browsing. If you are complaining about a video game on PC and have not at least done all of the above, you should not be using a PC...need to git gud... Better yet, buy a console...You clearly cant into PC.

You still have to do it with an SSD you know to keep a PC working in optimal condition. Not as important as it was/Is for HDDs but still needed (on less occasion) for an SSD. Just because there are no moving parts does not mean data is not arranged perfectly for optimal read/write.

You find plenty of wakestones as rewards. Pawns typically give a wakestone as their little quest, which just involves traveling with them for a day usually. From chests as well, and you can buy them from some npcs for gold. The autosave isn't even that punishing.
