As a non-EU resident with a Freelance VISA, does having a Spanish company allow me to work in other EU countries like for example Ireland? In other words, the client in Ireland does not pay me directly, they pay the Spanish company, and the Spanish company in turn pays me. I am a little confiused. How can you open a bank account without a CIF number? I have been granted a company name from RMC and recieved my NIE number but when I go to open a bank account it always asks for a CIF number.

Have you tried in a branch? Usually you will be fine with an address and the NEI. Alternatively, if you are trying online you might want to use the NEI, as you can have a nonresident account make sure all this as otherwise you won’t get past that point if it is for residents only. ¡Buena suerte!
