Not a chance. In this vid he says he will need to do maintenance at least twice on this trip. Plus tires, gas and any other costs. $10k at a minimum. Watch his video on how much he makes for each video and you will get an idea on how little KZbin actually pays. Sure he has some +1 million view vids but most of those are over a year old and his latest vids are averaging sub 50k. But at those numbers he should still be able to get a pretty decent sponsor.

one other consideration for you on your trip, windshield rock chips, keep a repair kit handy to keep one from getting worse, and factor in possible windshield replacement during & or after the trip.

In 1997 I rode my Honda VFR750F motorcycle to the four continental corner cities, Blaine, WA, San Ysidro, CA, Key West, FLA and Madawaska, Maine, with a side trip through eastern Canada. I have done a 9700 mile road trip this year. I had 3 different rental cars because of 2 critical damages: the windshield totally broke and a tire was damaged (but still driveable if i filled air once a day). Becaue of the Loss and damage waiver that was no problem. This could add some additional cost to your road trip (even if You have a comprehensive coverage) -- these kind of repairs are quite expensive if You drive a special car like a Lambo. I would advise you to take the TT or even rent a car. ~1000$ a month for rental car is definitely a good alternative as you dont have depreceation and maintenace. Just some thougts of mine..... Can't wait to watch this trip. You're the most different (I'm not sure how to put it) Lamborghini owner out there. If I never watched your videos and met you in public, I'd honestly think you'd drive a Prius or a Corolla and just live life day to day. Oh and btw. Simple Mobile has unlimited 4GLTE (it is always 4g, doesn't downgrade to 3 or 2g) for $60 a month. You can get a hotspot or use it on a phone. I work at a phone shop.

Get the paint protection film, front bumper and full hood and also get an exterior windshield protection film installed. You won't believe how pitted the windshield will get if you don/t.

@TheStradman I just checked for ya man. THE JET PACK from verizon is available on there website and in store. Its works outside the country and its 4g LTE data speeds on whatever data plan u pick for it. Plus its compact. Its what timewarner cable techs use when they do house calls etc so they can have wifi in there trucks etc. its the size of a pack of smokes! Lol.

I do a lot traveling,but I don't try to stand out,when in a middle of nowhere. It just take seconds to be at the short end of the stick. Your going into areas where they know the area and you don't. Gun or no gun. Nice video.

I would have gotten a clear paint protection film as soon as the Gallardo was picked it up in Newport. It would have been my first stop from the dealership. Specially if the paint was in as great a condition as you said it was.

Don't forget you will probably need to change your tyres & oil. They both tend to have to be changed and your car serviced every 10 000 miles.

Im 41,basically retired and Ive been a HEAVY traveller my whole life. Ive always owned a sports car as well as a truck. I love to fly but driving a fast car is great. I have videos going back to my 1st car when I was 16 which was an 88 911 Turbo that I still have and I have videos of taking a 1990 Diablo from Dallas to Alaska and back as well as trips in my 98 355 and Lingenfelter ZR1 among a few trips across the country but I was actually working on editing some old videos after I post the one I just finished that I just spent 5 weeks driving my SUPERFORMANCE/HILLBANK MKII #5 Exoto Gold/Red right hand drive&shift GT40 Widebody SBF ROUSH 427ci/QUAIFE ZF 5speed from San Francisco to Texas and then to Mexico City over to Puerto Vallarta and ending back at my shop outside of Denver. Im figured since I have cars sports cars in NorCal,Denver,Dallas,London and Berlin why am I not making money by posting crazy trips I video tape. one reason is because I dig my privacy and thats part of what makes road trips so great. The fact you simply can disappear is awesome!! But I have videos people can dig and relate to. I own 3 Cannabis Dispensaries and I love to party. I worked in the music field my entire life and not only have well known people in my videos,I take trips to this day with people that are known. Thats why I know people will dig my videos. Keep an eye out for my name!!

Mark my words -- He will remove the passenger seat. It's a classic method for going on long road trips by yourself with a 2 seater. Only way to do it and fit all your stuff without a proper trunk. Source: Me, I drive an Mr2 Spyder.

This is the trip of a lifetime. As far as internet goes. I think you would need a satellite box. They are not cheap and the speed isn't that great. The only real benefit would be that it would give you the ability to make a call as well. Your best bet might be to spend that time editing the videos while in the tent. Then upload them while eating in town or your nights in hotels. Then you can upload a couple of videos or more and get caught up. Scheduled the videos to post on different days. They buys you time and keeps coming back. If you will be in a lot of remote areas you could get a Spot. Family can see where you are and you can press a button for emergency services. It will send out your GPS signal. Some use them on road trips because they can let their audience follow them online with it. They turn them off the signal for that service before getting to their destination so they are a little safer.

Hey @TheStradman, solving the wifi/internet problem: for camping, some devices allow tethering so you can piggy back off your phone's wifi service. turning it into a mobile wifi hotspot. I hope this helps out. have a great day & best regards! -Walt

Cost and depreciation shouldn't be a consideration to fulfil a bucket list mission but maybe find 2 of the nastiest seats you can for the trip. Look into back packing type sights and be surprised of how little you need to take.

If you bring it into Canada, gas is anywhere from $1.15 to $1.35 a liter so much more expensive without factoring the exchange rate but the police generally leave you alone unless you are doing something pretty stupid.

You should be able to use your phone to create a WiFi hotspot. iPhone definitely does it and I think you can from Samsung. Another name is wireless tethering. You can also plug an iPhone directly into a Mac and use its cellular service to surf.
