I don't crack jokes or anything. No reaction except a churning stomach and a blank face. However, if someone or myself is in danger I react quickly. I disagree with number one: I consider myself a man of God and I personally don't like worship in church. I honestly just think it's boring and would rather just get into the sermon. I think worship should be saved for when you're alone or at least when you're with people you trust with whom your actually discuss your faith. Now, if I'm seeing a girl, and she wants me to come to worship, I would do that for her, but by myself, it's not my cup of tea. And in regard to the other points: I think it just comes down to confidence. You want a guy who's confident in himself and in his faith.

I've been a Christian man for about 15 years (now married for 5) and would love to give you both some feedback/discussion as being married long-term will definitely change your outlook on things very much. 1. - In regards to "worship" it's not that some of us men don't like worship. It's that we prefer a more authentic kind of worship. So saying "we won't like Heaven" is a ridiculous claim, cause in Heaven, we won't be shamelessly idolizing Hillsong or Bethels top-ten songs that repeat the same lyrics 70x for a 12 minute session. Heaven will be utter perfection, down to the worship. And it will be diverse in theme and genre. Not the same genre of melodramatic guitars and synth were every song sounds like the last. Church corporate worship has become a cut-copy-and-paste culture, robbed of creativity and inclusion of diverse genres and styles. At least in the mainstream. So shunning any guy that doesn't like worship, try approaching him with the heart of Christ, and see his reasons why, rather than laughing and or shaming him for it, cause they might be legitimate. You say "who cares what people think about you" but yet, you seem to care and think/have opinions about men who don't want to participate in said church's flavor of worship. A tad hypocritical if you ask me, but I'll let you both slide on that. 2. - "Guys spice up your fashion." I would tend to agree, as I like to like to be presentable and put together myself, but at the end of the day, this is worldly. No man is going to browse pintrest to appease anyone's eyeballs. Lest he's very hipster or emasculated. You ladies would have rejected John the Baptist, or any one of the disciples, even Jesus Himself. Christ respects humility more than the latest fashion trends. This point made you girls made sounds extremely of the world and very superficial. His heart should matter the most. 3. - I agree for the most part. But every man and woman in Christ is going to have an off-season or a stumble. Be careful to not let this get in the way of grace, and being there for your partner. Remember that a marriage takes three. You, your man and Christ. I fell into agnosticism for a year and had deep questions that the church and leadership failed to answer. Any other so-called "christian woman" would have abandoned me, divorced me, and kicked me to the curb. But my wife trusted Christ, and I have been back in the faith even more passionately than before thanks to Gods grace and patience in her. She looked inside, rather than what was outside and temporal. 4. - 110% agree. No argument there. Just don't abuse this by using a man's ability to listen to throw fleshly and carnal words at him. 5. - Agreed this can be very annoying. They might have had a bad day, or suffer from some anxiety in the moment. It's hard to tell. This kind of behavior can communicate a multitude of things, so it's best not to assume the worst lest you want to burn a bridge by assumptions. Approach them and be direct in asking why they seem so distant, it can go a long way. 6. - Agreed. Honesty and openness is a beautiful thing. 7. - Gossip is anti-gospel. Agreed. 8. - God sets passions upon peoples hearts and even gives the gifts and talents which can be used as tools for outreach or ministry or to bring God into a social sphere of influence or realm that He was not previously. I see nothing wrong with this. God is not a narcissist. He doesn't need to be talked about 24/7 to feel validated. He's God. To ONLY talk about these things without any knowledge of God then I would say, yes I agree. Thanks for reading! I hope this fosters a healthy discussion. Stay Blessed!

Honestly, #4 is like my biggest one haha I understand that guys' brains are different than ours and they tend to focus on one thing deeply and have a harder time switching back and forth between trains of thought but seriously, if you care about someone, you're going to take the time to listen to them, really listen, not with the intent to respond necessarily but with the intent to get to know the other person. A guys who listens to me when I'm talking, like actually listens with undivided attention has instantly shot up WAYYYYY high on my interest-radar hahaha And that last one, oof, that just confuses me to no end...it's like how deep is your relationship with Christ if you barely talk about Him? Like one guy I know who professes to be a Christian knows LOADS about tech gadgets, sports, food, movies but we've only had like one or two conversations about the things that really matter and it just baffles me haha I agree with you ladies....let's step it up, men, and strive for excellence in a world that's content with mediocrity. Another thing I find reallyyyy unattractive in a guy is when he calls himself a "gym rat" and is OBSESSED with working out....like OB.SESS.ED. staying fit and healthy is one thing but going overboard with it is literally one of my pet peeves hahaha So neat getting to meet your sister, Morgan!!!
