A landlord asking you to pay last month up front is ILLEGAL in NYC btw. Only first, security and brokers is legal.

hey Fly girl, looking extra fabulous, great video as always. Was on a business call the other day to an art curator in NY and she was talking to me from outside a coffee shop, OMG soooo much background noise.....felt like she was calling me from the back of an ambulance😂 also......like you said....So important to dig the neighborhood first ....then your apt. My budget is 2000 to,2200 and I can’t find a place in Brooklyn. Where should I look in Queens besides Astoria. I don’t have a car so I need to be near the subway or bus.

What part of Queens is 20 mins from Manhattan?

Long Island City or Astoria can be 20 mins from midtown by subway, depending on where you are exactly. 30 mins would be a more realistic average from NW Queens
