Get a stretchy lanyard for the key. Like a jet ski or boat key in case it ever fell out

Very helpful. When you check bolts, make sure you only are doing the static ones (attachment points) not things like the brake pad adjustment.

Thanks. Good things to check. A gentleman commented about lowering the seat so he could put his foot down on the ground. Excellent tip until you are really comfortable. I've fallen twice exactly as he described before I got the seat low enough!

Last way to break brakes in is that way, slow pressure careful not to get them hot and glaze the pads. Just use them normal and light until seated and bedded in.

Nice video Chris thanks. I put 500 miles on mine, but I sold it when we returned home from wintering in the south. It was a great investment because when I sold it, I got out of it what I paid for it. The bike I replaced it with for this wintering season has the exact same frame and electronics. Having to do with Tip #3; would you please try to power your bike on with the key out of it please? I learned a couple of days ago with my new bike, the key doesn't have to be in it to power it up! and actually on mine the locking lug doesn't even have to be actuated, it will still power up, and I suspect the Lectric 2.0 is the same way. Thanks, Don

Depending of what kind of lock they put into the battery, some only uses for lock the battery (like your), some required to operate the bike (xp).

if you have never held a tool or ridden a bike this is a great video, for everyone else just a long winded way of saying check the bike out before you ride.

Great video! Loving the bike so far. Something I learned this week the hard way. After not riding a bike for 35 years dont set the seat in "the proper position". Wait until you are used to the way it handles first. I had my bike tip over on me because I stopped and my foot didnt reach the ground because i was on a steep hill. The bike went over with me on it. Just a few scrapes and my pride, but someone broke their leg just yesterday doing the same thing on facebook. These bikes are heavy and can get away from you real easy. I'm keeping the seat low enough so I can reach the ground until I get used to its girth. That way on my wifes step through btw; My 2.0 comes today so i imagine its a little Taller.

Thanks for your videos. Question: do you know if there's a way to fine-tune the pedal assist speed? For example my daughter and I want to go for a ride and we both have it in pedal assist 2. BUT, she weighs half the weight that I do so she tends to go faster and pedal assist 2. It would be great if we could somehow adjust our pedal assist to speed a little bit to match those up with the weight difference of each of us. Maybe I'm totally ignorant and overlooking another option other than just pedaling a little slower or faster, but at first glance it appears that she is going faster than me and pedal assist 2. Does that make sense? Thanks!

Pedal assist speeds can’t be adjusted unfortunately

@RPMac2 жыл бұрын
Don't agree....leave key in till you have bike open so battery doesn't just fall out....then hold battery in release key and little rubber cover for charge port and pull the battery out.
@donaldtimmons76752 жыл бұрын
Another neat little trick is to remove the key, but leave the weather proof plug engaged, it will hold the battery in place while folding it. Happy Cycling...

As far as the display is concerned can you just get on the bike and ride it everyone makes it seem complicated.
