mississauga is all built around driving culture, if you don't drive, you'll have a horrible time. there's very little walkability, little nightlife, and the transit is just ok.
@emanaqeel59643 жыл бұрын
agreed, except the transit is probably the best in comparison with other ones ive experienced. although I drive now, during my younger years I bussed quite a bit, and busses never came late and maybe 1/100 busses wouldnt show, compared to other cities in the GTA, miway transit is definitely the best. nightlife is dead unless you're into bars around square one or port credit.

Hello from Finland. We were visiting Mississauga in 1999 when my grandmama was going to be 100 yeras. Sadly she passed away before that but we desided to travel anyway to see my uncles. One of then lived in a penthouse in a guarded and fenced house. What I remember is that there was really hot. I woke up at night to find how to switch the aircon on. It was odd than when I opened the balcony door it was hot outside too. Here in Finland nights are normal even if it is hot in daytime. Anyway, it looks that Mississauga has changed in these years.

But, unfortunately, I found the opposite: rude, dirty, and very unkind people, who despite being immigrants too, have even made fun of my accent and have segregated to my spouse after realizing that she had a previous divorce because in their culture that is blamable (they told her that directly to her face). Between that, the college tuition, and the well-known expensive cost of living here, I no longer know if it was a good decision to come to this country.
