Hello everyone. 🤗 I am Fatima the 'Home Freshalicious' 💖
Today I am sharing 8 delicious and easy edible gifts ideas perfect for the holidays or any special occasion. These recipes are easy and very customizable to individuals taste. I hope this inspires you to stay in and create some yummy gifts. These are so good you might want to keep some for yourself!
1- Banana Cake:
3 medium brown bananas (12 ounces)
2 Tbsp. oil or butter ( I used coconut oil)
3/4 cup sugar (turbinado sugar, coconut sugar, monk fruit sweetener)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup flour of choice AP flour, whole grain or gluten-free
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 - Peppermint Bark Cups:
10 oz. bag of dark Chocolate chips
10 oz. bag of white chocolate
10 candy canes
1 tsp peppermint extract (Divided)
3 - Herbed Spiced Nuts:
3 cups of nuts, cashews, pecans, and walnuts or of choice
1 Tbsp. each fresh rosemary & thyme or (1 tsp each dried rosemary & thyme)
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 Tbsp. powdered sugar or sugar free option (like swerve)
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp. olive oil
4 - 3 Ingredient Coconut Macaroons:
2 cups (160 grams) unsweetened shredded coconut
1 cup (130 grams) raw cashews or (1 cup almond flour 130 G)
1/3 (100 grams)cup maple syrup or honey
Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract
If desired it can be dipped in dark chocolate.
5 - Nutella Chocolate Cookies:
1 1/2 cups oat flour or (AP flour of your choice)
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups Nutella 600 grams
2 eggs
1 cup dark chocolate chips
6 - Caramel Apple and Caramel Salted Chews:
4 to 5 Granny Smith Apples
1 stick butter
1 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup liquid sweetener agave or corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
7 - Salted Caramel Chews:
Hot caramel (recipe above)
Flaky sea salt (Fleur De Sel or Molten Sea Salt)
8 - Fresh Herb Bouquet:
🌿 Herbs can be cut fresh from the garden or purchase bulk and shared with a friend! This tip is super easy - you don't even have to cook!
Herbs that I like to gift at this time of the year are: Fresh Bay leaves, Rosemary, Thyme, Sage, Oregano and Mint. I like to keep it in water or it can also be hung to dry for later use.

Liebe Fatima, habe heute deinen Bananenkuchen und die Nutellaplätzchen gebacken. Die Plätzchen sind der Wahnsinn und der Kuchen ist so lecker. Den werde ich jetzt immer Weihnachten backen. Auch meinem Sohn hat beides ganz prima geschmeckt und der ist das Maß aller Dinge 😂😉. Ich denke mal, dass ihr gerade viel zu tun habt, weil die Handwerker hoffentlich ganz fleißig arbeiten. Ich bin voll im Weihnachtsstress. Ich bastle sehr gerne um die Verpackung der Geschenke etwas aufzupeppen. Häkle zum Beispiel kleine Engel. Dieses Jahr bin ich ein bisschen spät dran. I'm not quite sure if you were following along we had to move out for repairs do to a leaking dishwasher. But everything is almost done and I'm looking forward to making more videos. Hello Moji, how is your winter season going? We've been so busy with unexpected leaky dishwasher repairs. 😬 It's been impossible to make new videos since our house was completely destroyed. There are so many things being done at the same time that we basically have to leave the house to get it done. That means hotels and Airbnb are inevitable. Things are being rebuilt, repainted, all floors replaced.... So I'm going to ask for your help with some polls here in the community tab. I have to choose colors and materials and I would love to know your opinion! Although it was stressful with construction on our home, we are very grateful and excited about the outcome. 😅 I see many opportunities for organizing and decorating videos to share with you in 2023!
