Jess! Fabulous video as always! I find I’ve turned to swingy comfy dresses during this pandemic. So I love the cut out mini dress the best. I have that style in all configurations- sleeveless, short sleeve, long sleeve and a range of colors. People don’t want to see a person my age in shorts anyway and it’s Florida, hot and muggy, and these types of dresses are a godsend. But, I also loved the ruffle blouse, the trench coat and the black suit as well. Hope you had a wonderful Easter and are enjoying the Spring. It’s gloomy and raining here in the Sunshine State! Lol! Where do I begin? My favs are the sweetheart neckline top with the wide leg jeans and your metallic flats. THE TRENCH is perfection, the three looks make so much sense, I really hope you can keep that one. It is something you could keep forever, it’s classic but it has unique details. That Trench! Ah that trench! I love beautiful tops as well. The thing is, I never really know when to wear a trench. The weather sometimes is often too cool for a trench or it would seem bulky in warm weather. I bought a couple of beautiful trenches, burgundy and navy at thrift stores and they have a lining to zip in and out of. Perfect for wearing over a blazer in cool weather when just blazers are not enough.

Hey Denisa, I hope you've had a good week:) I tend to wear a trench the most in transitional weather. So Spring time and then in the Autumn. When it's not quite warm enough to go without or sometimes I just love the look so I had it for style reasons rather than practicality as such. If it's warmer think about just having a cami underneath and in colder weather wrap a jumper over your shoulders, on the outside of the trench, i think that looks nice and avoids the bulk, Hope that's helpful lovely and have fun styling a few ideas x

The trench coat is stunning! favorite look was with a hidden skirt or dress underneath, I agree. The white blouse which you called pink is also very unique, interesting mix as a pool cover up. @@FashionStyleEdit I think I've posted my view on trench coats before - this one looks great on you but I don't think trench coats in the UK are that useful. They aren't warm and if it's warm enough to wear one then I'd wear a jacket and take an umbrella.

Floral top is a winner, That trench fits you soooooo well!! That’s a lifetime piece that never goes out of style!! that blacksuit is soooo beautifully tailored, although I’m not sure how often you need to be that dressed up these days

I have been inspired by Lem Lem for ages. I always look at their designs for summer sewing inspo. I just made a sweetheart neckline blouse yesterday! I don’t think I’ve had one since the 90’s. They are really flattering, aren’t they? Oh, and the t-shirt with the shoulder pads is a no, for me. I just don’t think it’s at all flattering, and may be one of those things we look back on in a few years and go, “What were we thinking” :):)

It’s so nice to see a beautiful single-breasted trench coat for a change. Another YTer recently did a review of 20 trench coats, not one of which was single-breasted. I prefer this cut because most of my “excess” is in the upper torso, the bust and waist area, and it’s less bulky and more flattering for my body type than double-breasted coats and jackets. I also think they look better worn open than double-breasted ones. I love the femininity of your new trench, too.

That's so true Kimberly! The cut is just perfection and with the nipped in waist it feels like it has a slightly 50s edge to it. And yet really current at the same time. I love it. Though I sent it back, regretted it, went to buy it online and it'd sold out in my size!! That'll teach me for thinking about it for too long! x

Everything looks *stunning* on you, Jess! Impeccable picks, and impeccably styled, as usual. I *loved* the navy blue mini dress, paired with the trench coat. Something about the juxtaposition of a carefree, summery style, against the feminine, tailored aesthetic of the coat. The floral blouse is also a winner, particularly when paired with jeans.
