When I put myself in a new situation, I try to stand out. For example, last night I was at the gym. It was my first time going at night. I have fairly long, curly/wavy blond hair. I wore it down. I had a key around my neck because I have a key lock. I had light eye makeup on. In short, I didn’t look like every other woman in the gym. I did a hard workout with weights, but I still looked good the whole time. I went by myself because my friend bailed. After my workout, I got a smoothie and some young guy tried to pick up on me. The best way to show confidence is to not conform to the masses and just be yourself. (But if I did cardio, I would definitely go with a ponytail and no makeup.) One guy told me that he fell in love with me because I don’t care what people think. That means I just do whatever I want and I don’t try to blend in with others. That’s confidence.

Well, as you said, some of them had a gf already so there never was a chance for them to like you, and with the guys who were not interested in you, it would be good for me to know exactly how much time did you spend trying to know them better? like I said, a first step is approaching a guy, but that wont make guys fall for you. Here's the thing with men (and obviously this applies only with single men) if a man don't catch feeling for you at first, you can still with his heart by showing care and affection in a platonic but sincere way. Many of us really crave for care and someone who will be a loyal partner, you can say that we would like to find traits in a girls that show that she's worthy of loving and spending time with. Personally, I fell for girls who when I saw them for the first time it was like "yeah, I don't like her" but after spending time as friends and getting to know them better (bc they opened themselves with caution to me) I just realized how bigs their hearts were, I remembered I said once "She's so kind and considerate, I want her to love me to". So my advice here is to just be sincere with your feelings but keep it platonic; give him a hug if you like them when you meet up, talk more about your feeling in his presences, be free to express your passions and how you love them, etc. Good men (and not just hook ups) will always see the value in your feelings and person and that my girl, will get you an advantage over many other girls. Maybe is not always going to work out (there's no perfect strategy) but trust me, as someone who is still single (and has been trying for so long) there's nothing but braveness to try and keep going despite the odds, it can make you feel even better with yourself. Hope this could help you and would be nice if when you get a bf (bc I think you can, I believe in you :3 ) could come here to type how it went out

I remember the last days of school before the pandemic started. I had the chance to be with the guy that I liked. He joined in the organization where I was and then it happened that we go home with the same direction but there were 3 of us. Then one night the other one was absent and we went home together. It was my first time sitting next to him in the van. We talked a lot even tho I'm too shy (I'm not good at socializing) then he went off first. When I went home, I checked my messenger and saw his chat, it was the first time he messaged me. He asked me if I'm already home, and man I just screwed everything up :3 I just said yup then he thanked me and I didn't know how to play that well. I ended up ignoring his message until the pandemic started and I lost all my chances to be with him again 😭 It always happen to me I guess I'll be single forever.

Personally, having a great personality and being able to make a guy laugh is KEY. Don't be afraid to crack jokes, even if its cheesy, we think its cute. IF you know the guy, bring him some food, something you made yourself, that's the cutest thing a girl can do for a guy. Strike up a conversation, start with a compliment! Don't always talk about yourself but LISTEN instead. (You'll learn more about the guy as he tells you things you wouldn't have otherwise known & that can be to your advantage.) How to get a boyfriend, this works 100% of the time, go up to boys and say hi, when you go to school. Make a secure, private, separate email with no real personal info, like fake everything and use that for your profiles on all the social sites, dating sites and apps, make the same profile on all of them, make a photo of you holding a note that reads your user name, state a 0lace they can message you where it's safe to get messages, not personal phone number nor the email I think, make youtube selfie intro videos, and get your friends involved, if all your friends are getting boys numbers you can invite all the boys or a small number at a time to hang out, blowing up the number of boys you meet, if you see a boy you like working at a place but it doesn't go great the first time, go to his job again and and try again, love wants you to take multiple trys :)

I think a girl trying to get s boyfriend is not as hard as its made out to be. (Guy here) listen, ladies, guys shouldn’t be very hard to get to. I think a guy is highly likely to accept you. Communication of your goals is key. If you give “signs” that he doesn’t get, that’s probably just it. He doesn’t get it. He does not want to make a huge mistake by accidentally interpreting something normal as a sign, so he plays it safe by telling himself that it was probably nothing. Either that or he’s just oblivious. Which, might I add, most of us are.
