Excellent video! Europe banned Roundup and it was not used. I read about California vineyards using Roundup years ago and they stopped when it was found likely to be a cause of cancer & other illnesses. However after heavy use it remained in the growing soils. Traces of Roundup were still found in most California wines tested in a study, maybe 7-10 years ago. So drinking European wine is healthy! 🤣

It is still legal in Europe until 2033

Glyphosate is a widely used herbicide, often applied to crops genetically modified to resist it. Many common foods, especially those derived from crops grown conventionally (not organic), can have glyphosate residues. Here’s a general list of foods often associated with glyphosate exposure: 1. Grains and Grain-Based Products • Wheat and wheat-based products (bread, pasta, cereals) • Oats and oatmeal • Barley • Rye • Rice (less common but possible) 2. Legumes • Soybeans and soy products (tofu, soy milk, soy protein) • Chickpeas • Lentils • Dry beans (kidney, pinto, black beans, etc.) • Peas (split peas, yellow peas) 3. Vegetable Oils • Canola oil • Soybean oil • Corn oil • Cottonseed oil 4. Corn Products • Cornmeal • Corn syrup • Corn starch • Popcorn 5. Sugar • Cane sugar and beet sugar (non-organic sources) 6. Animal Products • Meat, dairy, and eggs (indirect exposure from animals fed glyphosate-treated feed) 7. Processed Foods • Breakfast cereals (cheerios, granola bars, etc.) • Packaged snacks (chips, crackers, cookies) • Protein bars and powders • Packaged baking mixes 8. Fruits and Vegetables • Non-organic fruits (apples, cherries, oranges, etc.) • Non-organic vegetables (potatoes, carrots, spinach, etc.) How to Reduce Exposure: • Choose certified organic products, as they cannot legally be treated with glyphosate. • Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly. • Avoid processed foods when possible, as these often contain glyphosate-treated ingredients.

awesome vid, doc! I have cleaned most of that stuff out of my diet, as much as I can. sadly, even non GMO foods often, especially wheat, have glyphosate used on them to dry them out quickly just before harvest. which sucks all the minerals out of it. and that sucks BIG TIME. I love your vids, especially because they are very entertaining, besides being informative... good recipe to keep us coming back for more of the good stuff! cheers.

side note: I think people are getting wise to the glyphosate laden GMO corn and soy. I've noticed that a lot of so called better quality pet foods now have a lot of corn and soy as 2nd and 3rd ingredients. I think it's going to our pets now. Buyer beware. read your labels. 🧐

Whoops! At 11:40 you said that glycine causes gut damage when I think you intended to say glyphosate causes damage.

that sounds like a mistake I would make in trying to understand the relationship between the 2, so, yes, glyphosate bad.

Hypothetically what if I grow these things myself in my organic garden? I’m currently working on doing just this. It may take years for some trees to grow and fruit, other plants to mature for me to be able to get to the point of at least 80% eating off my land (veg and fruit wise anyway). What do you think? Also I notice lots of health issues are worse for me in the winter when I am not outdoors in my garden but inside mostly. In Oregon we have a lot of rainy days, although lately we’ve had more sunshine and cold but I’ve been outside working in the garden more and feel so much better. For me I think my sleep is better when I’m getting natural light rather than not. Definitely a noticeable factor.

Eat the chickpeas occasionally that is organic. But am guessing the premade hummus I get isn't organic. So it's good to know. Have organic everything as much as possible but am lucky. Does high fiber help bind and eliminate toxins?
@dylanpetkusmdКүн бұрын
To an extent fiber can help, but other agents such as activated charcoal, etc. would be more toxin-excreting.

Organic chickpeas are allowed to be doused with glyphosate for drying the crop uniformly for harvest. There may be some that the farmer does not use this technique.

What about organic oats and organic carrots? Wouldn't they have no or very little glyphosate?

There's not evidence that I saw that demonstrated glyphosate in those organic products, so I can't say with confidence.
I have an MD, MPH, and MS. They're irrelevant. I literally show you research on the screen. You can decide to think for yourself or not.

So, GPLC used for increasing NO can be actually useful for both sexual problems and sleep apnea? Very interesting
@dylanpetkusmdКүн бұрын
I'm not sure, it is importance for the NO to be localized in the respiratory system which can be accomplished via nasal breathing mostly
@Sleepdriver198412 сағат бұрын
@dylanpetkusmd Yeah, I mean, it being a dipeptide containing both glycine and carnitine, won't they eventually be metabolized as simple single aminoacids with their respective help for both glyphosate replacement (if that's present) and for mitochondrial and endothelial enhancement, resulting in indirect help for sleep apnea, too?
