I've started eating salads six days a week. This week, I've started eating Caesar salads with homemade Caesar salad dressing, which contains EVOO, MCT oil, ACV, lemon juice, lemon zest, anchovies, garlic, egg yolks, Dijon mustard, sundried tomatoes, basil pesto, and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. It's so good, and I'm still consistently losing weight! I'm down 60 lbs in just under 5 months!

Dear Dr. Berg. I had a fatty liver that was affecting my thyroid levels and I started loosing skin color, created by white patches, also known as Vitiligo. The vitiligo spread to both hands and my groin area. At first I went go see a skin doctor, then I was referred to my general doctor to check my thyroid. I also had neck pains and visited the chiropractor. SURPRISINGLY, it was your video regarding the cleansing of a fatty liver that help me removed the white spots on my hand and reduced it by 50%. I lost 20 pounds eventually, gain energy and the neck pains were gone. Please let me know where I can send you photos of my hand. Vitiligo doesn't really have a cure and I believe a lot of people are not aware that it all starts at the liver. I had used multiple creams, with no results, even my skin doctor is surprised.... Thank you for all your help. Elkin Cabrera

As someone who suffered for years from long-standing liver and gallbladder dysfunction, I now eat all these foods regularly and avoid sugar (including most fruit), avoid all plant seed oils, processed foods, and insulinemic foods. I eat mainly high-fat beef steak and vegetables (steamed or fried in animal fats like tallow) and feel great again. I believe that supplementing daily with a high quality B-Complex (containing Choline, Benfotiamine, and Methylcobalamin), Betaine-HCL, TUDCA, Vitamin D3 (with K2), and Cod Liver Oil has also helped to restore my liver function to optimal levels. I also do a 48 hour water fast once per week.

I also take 500mg-750mg of TUDCA with a large glass of water on an empty stomach, just before bed, every 3-4 days. Please note that when i first started treating the sludge that was filling my liver and gall ducts, i took 1000mg of TUDCA on an empty stomach, twice a day (before bed and early morninhg) for an entire month. This was to thin the sludge that was backing-up the ducts.

Dr Berg, thank you🙏🏻❤️. You are saving lives! I’ve completely change my life since I’m watching your videos. My mom passed from liver cancer, and my dad from kidney failure. Unfortunately they both had very unhealthy lifestyles and diets. I’m turning it all around. Proudly reporting that I do 80% of what you’re video shows. Still have a lot more to go. Switching to organic vegetables and fruits, and need to have a green juice daily. I started making my Sauerkraut every two weeks ( 5 cabbage) that I eat every day. No sugar at all, only lemon water, no alcohol, very small amount of carbs, ( bread) that I make( no preservatives like store bought). Thank you🙏🏻❤️ so much for turning my life around. I still have a lot to change by I’m on a good path. Gratitude 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have to tell you that your information has improved my health drastically. I had severe intestinal issues that prevented me from working full time. My job was stressful due to the way it was operated, so Cortosal was an issue. My first Dr appointment they sent me home with an anacid & antidepressent. I don't like pills. Also I have just about every other detriment you've listed as being a deterrent to weight lost , Post Menapasal , I had Thyroid Cancer at 18 y/o old & my gallbladder removed in 2019 at age 63. I still felt terrible; after the gallbladder surgery & everyone around me just said it was part of getting old. I stumbled across your videos & Oh Boy did the education you provide change my life. I started Keto around the 1st of July. I feel fantastic I lost 21 lbs of fat, I enjoy cooking for the 1st time in my life. I introduced Intermittent fasting in August after learning more about & comprehending blood test results. I know that the glucose in my blood was high after having given up bread , rice & noodles 10 years ago & still I suffered and gained weight even though I thought I had removed all my carbs. The ones I hadn't addressed until June (because I didn't check, due to denial) I was a nonfat milkaholic. I consumed 2 gallons of non-fat milk every week. That is 416 carbs now add the graham crackers that I used to soak of that constant acid and satisfy my constant hunger for another 624 carbs. Also I was instructed that in order to help with my constipation I should consume a bowl of steel cut oats with fruit, for another 217 carbs. That was 159 carbs over my 20 allowed in a day. They have been other addictions that I shed along my way to a much healthier productive lifestyle. I just want to thank you so very much. I got rid of those prescribed medicines after a month because as I shared with my Doctor I don't trust Big Pharma & don't believe they have my best interests at heart. I've seen all the smears, & man you must be pure because such lame smears they were. I think you've done a great job & contributed so much wonderful essential information. I can't afford your gallbladder supplements but my Daughter just ordered some for me because I do have the sludgey bile & I can't wait to see the improvement once I'm able to process those fat soluble vitamins & minerals. I just wish I would have asked my Daughter sooner. I go to the Doctor on Monday & I am excited to see the difference in my blood. Thank you again, I wish I had more to contribute than my obvious gratitude and admiration of your contribution to this crazy world.

Lemon is good for your liver AND it's good for your kidneys too! I learned from this channel that kidney stones get broken down by drinking lemon and lime juice. Lime juice helped me get rid of my kidney stone. I like to drink lemon or lime juice now and then so I never get one again. A lot of women that have had kids say that kidney stones can be WORSE than giving birth.

This is good advice. My mom's liver failure was caught very late. Controlling her diet was key to giving her some good years during her last few. I can tell you that if you take a lot of Tylenol, have diabetes or crave sweets and eat mostly processed food - YOU NEED TO CONSIDER your LIVER. Liver failure is a really bad illness to confront and alcohol is not its only cause. You change your trajectory easily if you look after yourself early.

I have had constipation for years. I literally can check off every symptom for a bad liver, including edema now. I went to the doctors so many times regarding this. I had one doctor that told me to just eat tons of cream of wheat. Then I had another that said I just need to lower my cholesterol. I showed them my swollen ankles, told them about pain in my lower back and pain on the front right side near my belly button. I told them about my itchy skin and how my I was losing my hair. Not one doctor mentioned anything about my liver. When I told the doctor about my constant of constipation, they gave me a medication that was supposed to encourage me to go. I need to change my life immediately.

My sight was affected. I started eating too much and urinating too much, suddenly I checked my sugar and found it was high. Am not diabetic, but fasting was 12.0mmols! I started on diet and wishing 2 weeks I felt better. No more farting, clear vision,no nausea, alot more has changed. So dieting is the way to go. All swelling and pain will go. All the best.

Dr. Berg I will be 76 in a few days. I retired at age 70 and 3 months later found I had stage 4 colorectal cancer. I also had a extremely large tumor around my left kidney and that type of cancer I can't pronounce but did not respond to treatment so they had to get it all the first time. Luckily they did get it all. After the smoke settled I was left with one kidney and an ostomy bag At about three years through my chemo treatments I had to have my gal bladder removed. After almost 5 years and 107 chemo therapy treatments I am still here. I quit the chemo about 6 months ago and am in observation mode now with no cancer at this time I was told it could come back at anytime but so far so good. I have been watching your videos for some time now and recently heard you mention how bile works but I have no gall bladder so I guess I don't digest fats very well. I also have slid into type 2 diabetes along with everything else. It would be great if you could someday do a video with more information to help us who have no gall bladder. Possible supplements?? I am also on blood thinner (Eliquis) so I may have reactions to some drugs or supplements. Thanks, Dennis

@@Drberg watching your videos has been both eye opening and sad for me, I watched the video about the feet, then the ones about what to and not to eat for the liver... my gallbladder was removed in 2006, sadly I could have avoided the procedure if the care providers that noticed I was growing stones in it, when they were doing an ultrasound to make sure my uterus was clean after my miscarriage, had made a better effort to make me or my husband aware of it, giving the painful circumstances we were facing at the moment. But instead I found out 15 years later as I unburied and read the documents from that day that I had gallstones... I am learning now that I probably should have been taking bile salts, long time ago, I can see my problems steam from the prednisone (I didn’t take it too long because it wrecked havoc in me), antibiotics... all you can imagine and more (I have no teeth left of my own, thank God, I was able to get transplants) I was diagnosed with pharestisia (not sure spelled it right) and probably wasn't, as you mentioned the pain in the right side of the neck and shoulder, my left foot has been numbed on and off for a while, sometimes I get this horrible sharp pains, I'm having the tightness under my bust, have psoriasis in my head, ears, legs and nails, I feel supertired all the time to the point I take naps, lost all my flexibility... Anxiety...Gained out of the blue over 10 pounds in a snap of my fingers, I'm trying to put together a map of my health and all you've talked about to try and pinpoint how bad it is... But believe me, as bad as it sounds I just push through like nothing is going on.

Avoid non nutritional filler- does it contain vitamins and minerals? No? Its non nutritional filler and is the same as adding muddy water to your gasoline. Processed food (means that literally, toxic stuff has been added while nutrition has been removed) and food removed more than one step from it's harvested state. If it doesn't fit these categories, then it's likely to be ok to consume. Beer, hfcs sugary sodas, carbs, confections, drugs, prepackaged stuff like sandwich meat hotdogs, meat from a can, store bought milk, psuedo juice drinks, fake cheeses= non foods= takes more or close to more energy to digest than what's obtained. The rest has varying degrees of benefits but generally isn't outright detrimental - exceptions being nutritious food infused with poisons. Thank Codex Alimentarius for allowing forever chemicals to be used around our food products again 😒 Clean unfloridated well water, properly handled raw milk from a happy cow fed on grass, juice straight from the fruit makes for a happy gut. All of which I've done, none of which ive done in the last 2 Year's and 100% why I'm laying around watching tv now, thinking about my liver and feeling like a loaded crap vessel, instead of participating in real life...🤦🏼‍♂️

I never thought I'd see it that low. The orthodox doctors I saw in those years never said anything more than "it's nothing to worry about ... probably just a little bit of fat in your liver" . I was inspired by a video with this title "The PERFECT TREATMENT For Diabetes, Weight Loss & LONGEVITY | Dr. Satchin Panda". I would also add that my blood work didn't improve all at once. The ALT & AST improved over 5 years, so don't be discouraged if your ALT was say 60 and you get a new test and it's 45. That's still improvement. Maybe next year it's 38, and so on. Extremely helpful video. Ive used TUDCA in the past to clean out my liver and i experienced a complete reversal in my chronic eczema, this is also due in part also to eliminating a bunch of junk calories i was eating at the time like soda and candy (knocked out most of sugars). Its funny that you listed Prednisone as an extremely toxic drug for the liver because when my Eczema would flare of extremely bad that what i would get prescribed and ironically it only masked the symptoms for a week or two at the most. Another thing i noticed taking the TUDCA is that my Vitiligo patches started re-pigmentation. At one point my hands were about 50% covered with this patches. Now you barely notice and i would say i only have about 5% discoloration remaining. I may need to do another month cycle of TUDCA to see if i can get it down even more. Two ingredients that i was surprised that didn't make your list are Tumeric and Blackseed oil. I've used two ingredient to marvelous affect for keeping a handle on my autoimmune disorders that are completely under control now, Eczema, Food allergies, and Asthma.

The cholesterol molecularity is changed when oxidized during cooking process with heat. Great study on this! I would love for you to do a program on how this works if you find the time. Thank You for your help as always!

I suffered for 2 years with a bad gall bladder. I had every symptom of gall bladder disease. I live in a very small rural community and most of the doctors here, well let's say; it's not Houston, but we do have a small hospital, which is a plus. They have very good, caring nurses. It took 5 hida scans before the duct was blocked and I could get it taken out. They sent me to Hermann in Houston, but I really suffered and I got up and went to school to teach . My gall bladder was full of bile sludge! That "ordeal" was the beginning of the end of my good health. I've been taking D3 with K2 and magnesium for years because I taught 4 year olds and they were always sickkkkk!

Several years ago, my fellow teachers diagnosed me with gallbladder problems when I would have occasional sharp pains in my right side that only seemed to occur only on Fridays. I listened to the horror stories and was worried. One day it happened a few times on a Wednesday, and my left arm was a little sore, too. Oh no, heart and gallbladder problems. Then it dawned on me. My kids had changed the day I usually picked up my young grandsons from Thursday to Tuesday this week. I always kept them one evening a week on Thursdays so they could work late or go out. From early afternoon to late evening, I would be picking up young kids and even bouncing around a 35 pound toddler usually in my left hip and sometimes picking up the 6 year old. I started doing some stretching exercises during the week and I cured my gallbladder and heart problems. Thanks, Dr. Berg, for your videos

I must add... High ALT and high AST are often times not cause for concern if you're lifting weights. When you shred muscle, those enzymes are secreted from your muscles. I had a scare from an ER Doc once upon a time. She suggested a biopsy despite knowing I was lifting weights Mon-Fri for approximately 2 hours each day. Jerry Brainum published a video that showed me the way. Watched it the following day. I was so relieved to learn that. My liver is fine, and the Doc should've known this.

To eat lots of salad, you would have to eat organic otherwise aren't you getting insecticides that you don't want since it's not good for the liver?

Ya but you can get organic 🥬 kale & cabbage at just about any market for $1.99 and you can get turmeric w was not mentioned I eat it straight from the root it's maybe 5-6$ a lbs at whole foods just limit it they can get organic greens for salad by organic girl at Ralph's or most produce sections 3.99$ so if you look it's easy to find organic greens. Aldi has organic broccoli 🥦 zucchini ,green beans for a decent price

Honestly I've never came across a doctor as great as yourself. Your absolutely spot on straight to the point. I wish I had you as a doctor. You change lives you save lives in so many ways. Your a hero Dr Berg. I'm from Scotland and NHS service sucks it's free and I feel I get no information I feel I go in there and explain things to them and feel like sometimes I'm doing there job for them at times. But I need help. I've always been great at dieting people call me the King I do a fast 900kcal diet for 3 month then a 2500kcal diet for 3 month always before holiday season. I like to travel but I'm unable too because I'm in severe upper abdominal area I mean it's so painful it's always a 10/10 24/7 but some days it gets so bad I feel I'm dying and it's 20/10 it's that bad. Your the man Dr berg. Thank you

You say certain medication. Which ones. I also have extremely high blood pressure. Been hospitalized twice in last six months. More meds were added. I started to shake uncontrollably and knew it was the meds. I went to bed. Drank nothing but water for a week. BP actually went down. Added clonidine and Lisinopril hctz. It's fluctuating between high and very low. Changed my diet to eating fresh fruits and vegetables only for a week. Now , thankfully, I found your video and will follow it to the letter. Thank you so much.

I am 33, I do not drink coffee, alcohol. I do walking for 40 min and more every day. I do not eat any sugar added or natural. I eat only whole bread. Limited gluten. I am 57 kg and do not have any overweight. But the ultrasaund shows Fatty liver. It is kind of joke for me. I think I needed to add only muscle building exercise.😅
