Indeed I’ve noticed that a lot, maybe even most, of other horror narrators stories, despite titled “true stories”, highly involve supernatural aspects, while Lets Read’s stories usually doesn’t unless the video title specifies it. I wonder what’s the reason?

I've lived in several rathole motels. There are two types of people who live in places like that - they're either on their way back up, or circling the toilet bowl. Never, NEVER, become involved with the locals, in such a dysfunctional smurf village - as tempting as companionship can be, when you're in a bad place in your life.

The story with the Flordia Water Bugs is actually pretty terrifying because if they are anything like the California toe biter their bite BURNS. I was bit by one when I was maybe four or five and I still remember the absolute pain in my big toe even after it let go. To imagine a swarm of them coming at me gives me chills.

Yes I was almost trafficked in Baton Rouge but thankfully I was able to come up with a quick and excuse and escape before the guy was able to catch up with me. I still get chills when I think about it, I was so close to never being seen again.

Story 6 actually has a reasonable explanation. My cousin is a contortionist (I guess some people would consider contortionists as creepy though lol) and when we were growing up she would often practice her contortion, and one day she ended up leaving dirty footprints on the ceiling whilst practicing lol It became like an inside joke within the entire family haha

Note on the water bugs from story 5; those little guys can actually be found in freshwater bodies all over the world. Some species get quite large and one is considered the largest in their order. Not "dangerous" but certainly painful. They tend to be attracted to electric lights at night, if you want to try and find some.
