The Tribeč mysteries are really interesting, and cool to hear here because I live literally the next country over (Czechia). The most popular theory about it is that people fell into old mine shafts since the mountains are riddled with them and if a fog falls, its difficult to navigate the paths. There is also a pretty cool movie based on the mystery called Rift

About story from Slovakia. Tribeč and mysteries around it got pretty famous when slovakian horror/crime author, his name being Jozef Karika, came with horror book called the rift (Trhlina). The book is about someone, a guy, that wanted to meet this author to tell a personal story of him and his crew investigating the mysteries. Of course it went wrong. I to this day am not really sure if it is based on a true story or not, but regardless it is very good book. Not to mention is has a connection to 411 missing cases book series by David Paulides. Author even mentions David Paulides several times. Basically the whole premise is that these strange disappearences appear all around the world, not only in USA national parks.

It was quite a pleasant surprise to hear that second story. I live in Rostrevor, Co. Down and every few days, I go for a cycle on the mtb trails. I've been on the 27km red trail a few times and I have experienced some REALLY creepy things on it. These include loud noises deep in the forest, dead animal skulls, falling rocks from hills and a sense that something was gaining on me at speed in the deeper parts of the trail. Thank you for telling that story, i really enjoyed it! 😊

Suicide by self immolation is more common than what a lot of people like to believe. Around 15 yrs ago a family member of mine spent some time in our regional burn unit due to a bon fire accident. While he was there, two patients were there due to failed suicide attempts. One was much like the method in the story and the other had doused herself in gasoline, sat in a chair, and lit herself. And before anyone claims HIPPA or anything, families spent many hours together in the waiting room.

I feel bad for the poor sheep in the first story! Whatever happened to them sure was scary! I was thinking a wolf did something to them. I'm glad one person was found in one of the stories! I also feel bad for the poor girl in the fourth story! Why would anyone do that to her?! Also, why would the college kids do that to the girl in the first story?! I was thinking "Wow!" after hearing the last part of story 1.
@tycoonraptor7052
@tycoonraptor7052 Жыл бұрын
I'm almost confident that it had to be a person. If it was just a case of all the sheep being in the same spot at discovery, or sheep going missing, you could blame it on animal(s). But the fact they disappeared over several days from the farm, and then all appeared dead outside a dude's tent screams human. Animals don't do that.
@tescobag5704
@tescobag5704 Жыл бұрын
@tycoonraptor7052 I live in Northern Ireland, been here my entire life and I can tell you, most likely animal is the foxes. They are the only real threats to sheep here. That said, there are A LOT of strange stories about sheep going missing like this and usually with no real explanation that seems logical. A good one is this story of how sheep in Northern Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland all just disappeared from farms. Of course not all farms experienced this but hundreds of sheep just disappeared across Britian thay night, they were found however. this is known to happen when there are thunder storms but there was no thunder storm that night. To this day there is still no explanation as to why all these farms just had a large portion of their sheep disappear

Not the movie. The case back in 2003 Taken from IMBD- THE REAL BLAIR WITCH (2003) “A group of teenagers from Flint, Michigan filmed themselves kidnapping and terrorizing a new acquaintance, before taking her out to a woods and dumping her in a shallow grave. They then taunted their terrified and blindfolded victim asking if she had any last requests before they cut her throat. But was the kidnap real or just a game? Three days later the tape was in the hands of the police and the 5 teenager friends were in custody facing life imprisonment. This program talks to the people at the heart of this story - including two of the defendants - in an attempt to understand what really happened in the woods around Flint last year. It also screens the video of the 'abduction'. What is revealed is an extraordinary and disturbing record of a night when something went terribly, terribly wrong.” -Simon Egan

Maybe the Park Ranger should invest in track devices. So if one of you goes missing you would be able to locate them?

Beware those jealous people! My life was drastically changed overnight at seventeen due to a tormented ex lover of my then boyfriend. And his brother who also wanted to be with me? Twenty years of memory loss after a miscarriage due to being severely beaten, and a legit mental breakdown. Jealous people can be very dangerous.

I feel like the writer of one of those stories is super judgmental. Lol. Some people aren't lonely because they don't have wives and kids. Some people are perfectly content that way. And being that this guy was some great adventurer who wanted to go on a hard hike on his day off is exactly the type of guy who would be happy being single. Also they made a comment about how that's not a normal thing for a businessman to want to do on his day off but I think it's a perfectly normal thing for certain personality types to want to do on their day off. Lol. It's just funny. People be feeling sorry for you and you be out there living your best life.
