When he said the second wave of the Spanish flu killed *everyone* who contracted it, I thought, "This may be the perfect bioweapon." First, you engineer it in the lab. Then you make a vaccine and vaccinate everyone in your own country. Then you unleash it on your least favorite enemy. Not advocating that, but it is something that even a small and poor country could potentially do.

John marathon Costie the 5 % mortality rate happen when ur medical system is still working. The mortality rises drastically when u lack life supporting devices. Chronic disease also up the mortality rate. If millions gets infected, most of times, the medical system will just straight crash, and the mortality rate rises very fast. That is pretty much what is happening in Italy. Their medical system is quickly breaking from the pressure of so much patients. “ people dying, people crying”

Matthew 24: 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short. Bible prophecy has been proven to have happened, or come true. Records of prophetic events, that we recorded in early scrolls or scriptures...came true hundreds of years later according to historical data discovered through archaeological findings. SO, if people can imagine things today as being a Futuristic event... Why not Trust that what God is relaying to us, will also come true? Matthew 24, had a two part meaning. One was for Jerusalem and it's future demise in 70 CE/AD - and one is for us today.

@@rickwhite4137 did you know that Russia has 4 times the number of engineers compared to the US, despite having only half the population? What made America into the land of opportunity was the incentive for highly educated people to come to America. In one of those countries you speak of a recent article talks about there being only one person left on the west cost that wants to be a painter. Hordes of cheap workers from east of Europe and other parts of the world do most of the hard, low level work, but they do not always settle, but instead move to where they can find work. In the other end of the scale you find that you need a bachelor degree to even work in a kinder garden in some areas. This creates an ENORMOUS pressure on the youth who can no longer expect to survive with a low level job. Truth is, you don't NEED a large number of highly educated people to create a successful nation. You only need to maximize the incentive and opportunities for those few exceptional people to come and create jobs for the rest of us.

6 years from when this is posted and we're dealing with a global pandemic thats being compared to the spanish flu. we've done none of your tips for how to best prepare for this either.

Thank God it turned out not to be anywhere near as bad. 1918 killed 5% of all people alive at the time.

@@jwhippet8313 It's still not over yet. Even with the vaccines rolling out. Not everyone has gotten their shots, some people who have got one have been reinfected. We still have a ways to go, and while the death rate isn't super bad yet the infection rate is...and continues to climb.

I stumbled upon this last Fall when I was trying to find info on factory farms. Missouri legislators, and every other state that is run by cattle/Big Ag, have tried to prevent the public from knowing what kind of environments cattle/domestic animals are kept in, setting us up for such a pandemic. Coronavirus beat them to it :(

For the aestroid one there’s an amazing show that shows we would come back in time to try and fix the issues and avoid the aestroid. I think the writers used this guys Ted talk. Please watch travelers. It’s soooo good.

How can you come back in time at exact spot. While galaxy and entire universe is expanding non stop. There is no way to calculate location at point now to later go back and there would be nothing just empty space

Many many many scientists have been saying for years, or actually decades, we will have a pandemic, long overdue. Covid19 has not been as bad as other potential pandemic's could have been. It is not the last by far, where there is life there are infections. Could be next year, 5 years, 20 years.
