I’m doing yoga and sometimes meditation and i read books beside my study time as an escape from it, sometimes i feel guilty about the time passed on these activities and not dedicated to read more papers in my field. You made me feel it’s ok and im on the right track. Thank you beautiful doc

Thank you so much Dr. Once a week I made what I so called “Self reflections”- I just sit aside with my note book, Thinking for what I have did before, writing ideas & and re-reading my self. Power nap: closing my eyes for 10-20 minutes in the middle of the day. Interestingly, I don’t use alarm or timer for it, somehow my body knows it’s time to wake up. It’s rather daydreaming, very powerful, I feel very refreshed after

You need to chill more. Your whole life revolves around working. There is nothing wrong with spending the whole day as a couch potato on the couch.

A decade ago I was like you. Constantly learning super focused. I suffered major burnout with serious health effects. I don't want you to end up like that. Thats why I suggested just chilling.

@@catseyes8377 the whole video is about relaxing - honestly, do whatever makes you happy. If you want to couch potato all day, that’s your life and if you want to work and build something for your future in a balanced way, that’s what I promote :)

@@DrAminaYonis I think you did! 🤣 I think this has a lot to do with culture, as a Kenyan you seem perfectly balanced and normal to me, someone worth admiring. Mambo ya dunia ni mambo ya dunia, to always be in a mode of purpose is our pursuit of the divine- we dedicate ourselves to work as a discipline and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
