I will never ever go to Oktoberfest. Too many people. The smaller beer and wine fest across Germany are much better. Wearing Dirndl and Lederhosen actually is not an old tradition. It only started in the 1990s. I find it stupid to dress like that if you have no connection to the culture.

Hoping to go to the one in Stuttgart tomorrow. No time for the clothes, but I will be getting different shoes!! I didn't even think about that!

"Good-to-know: If you drink a liter of beer while standing on the table, it is against the house rules, if the security notices this, you will be kicked out of the tent!

Very true! We should have clarified that you should only stand on the benches, not the actual table themselves.

The Oktoberfest Beer is much stronger as the American beer
@agdwchannel3 ай бұрын
Yup, German beer on average has a slightly higher alcohol content than American beer.

Moment mal, wenn ihr zwei in Deutschland gelebt habt, warum finde ich hier kein Video auf deutsch von euch beiden? 😂 Grüße aus München!

Wennst des dann koanst, dann duast da auch leichta in Bayern. ;) Translation: You spelled it correctly, thats ok. You can learn the bavarian language, is the better german. When do you speak bavarian, you have it much easier in Bavaria. ;)

I remember walking across Oktoberfest and really worrying about getting puked on my shoes, so tip No 1 really is a thing. Frankly, I don't enjoy myself among people getting royally plastered, so I'm not likely to go there again. However, I know some civilized people who met their girlfriends of many years on Oktoberfest (so yes, that really appears to work well for some!). So, as these two suggest: go there, heed their advice and find out if it works for you...

Good advice. Just take it easy, don’t drink too much and enjoy the atmosphere :)

🤣🤣😭😭😭 I went to my local Oktoberfest last weekend (they do it every year at a ski resort in Utah) and spent $50 and only got TWO beers that were less than half the size of those. 🥲 Can't wait to experience a real Oktoberfest next year.

Oof. That’s pretty brutal! Still nice that there’s the tradition that too!
@freyjav6055 Жыл бұрын
@@agdwchannel Yeah it was definitely brutal! Haha. Way overpriced for beer in my opinion, but, I still had a great time there :) They make you buy a glass though, is that the custom in Germany too? Or are there reusable ones that you return?
