I had the opportunity to meet Brad Faxon last year at a PGA Teaching Symposium an a true gentleman. As a PGA Instructor in South West Florida, I have set some goals for 2023. Get healthy and fitter, change my backswing a little, break 70 again and get some more club head speed. shot 71 on January 11th. Love the channel.

One of my favorite interviews from you Rick. Brad Faxon is one of my all time favorite players because he is so good on the greens. Your question about what Tour players Brad wishes he could have putted for I yelled at my screen ADAM SCOTT! before he answered. Hopefully, we get to see the putting lesson on a future show.

Rick, I may have said this before but you have become such a great interviewer. Your relaxed style makes the interview more of a casual conversation. Your questions are investigative but simple to follow and I believe you bring out the best in those you interview. This interview was outstanding and I can’t wait to see the lesson. Finally, I would be remiss if I did not send out a great big congratulations to Guy and his family. What an exciting time it must be in a young man’s life to become a father. Sadly, I never fathered any children but I did have the privilege to co-parent a very fine young man from my wife’s first marriage. He was almost 12 when she and I married almost 50 years ago. I hope the child remains healthy and happy long beyond Guy’s life and that all he has is the joy of watching her grow and prosper.

Epic interview…Brad is a golfing God…I was stationed in Newport, RI, living in Bristol, right up the road from his home town of Barrington…great state with great golf courses…and Brad is a hero up there. Great that he’ll be in the booth this season!

Brad used to be golfing royalty in RI but now he is a pariah. Was part of an ownership group that bought the iconic, Donald Ross designed Metacomet country club and then sold it out from under the members for houselots and commercial property. His is persona non grata in RI these days...

I’ve not played golf regularly for about 30 years. I lived and breathed golf and shared golf with my dad when I was younger. Since watching your channel and the break 75 videos you have inspired me to dust off the clubs again and get out there on the course once more. Your enthusiasm and encouragement really are inspiring Rick and I do feel like my hunger to play again has returned. So, my goal for 2023 is to get the golf bug back and immerse myself back into the world of golf. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up and get out there. Thanks Rick, keep up the quality videos and stay true to your roots.

My goals are to get back to what I started with last spring. Was playing pretty well until July, when I had a phenomenal 9 holes. Then, had some heavy chores around the house. Messed up my back and elbow, and made my carpal tunnel flare. My game was complete garbage after that. So spending the winter getting healthy and rehabbing. Also going to do some golf specific training from some videos from you and Matt Fryer to be able to hit the course running in the spring. And for sure, congrats to Guy and his wife!

Congrats on the new arrival GUY, my baby boy is due in 4 weeks. My golf goals for this year are to focus on more rotation, get my distance up and my score down. I tend to be a throw and extend golfer and i want to be more sit and rotate. Its a long road ahead but looking forward to another addition to my family and a more enjoyable and consistent round of golf.
