GM Stopa overlooked the tactics (perhaps he had a blackout and saw that Nxg4 protects against Nxf6+, but forgot about Ng5+), but it's not as hard to find as the narrative implies, it's a Knight check with a discovered attack on an unprotected rook, it's an easy chess puzzle. i think it's the young player's engine-like consistency and accuracy over the entire game (including the exchange sacrifice in the endgame) that's actually amazing, not this move in particular
