I found you last Spring due to the magical readathon and God bless the KZbin algorithm for helping me find you. I am still in awe about how much work you put into the world of Aeldia and Orilium - and for everyone to share for free! Also, thank you for acknowledging the special place that Harry Potter has in many of our hearts. It is so hard to separate art and artist - and it is very difficult to struggle with the feelings of not agreeing with an author's views AT ALL and still wanting to love their work. I think the way you said it described that feeling well - after the author showed her true colours, she no longer has my support for her as a person, but I find it difficult to deny how much I love the Harry Potter story.

The advent calendar video found it's way to my recommendations back then. It was the first video of yours I saw and I have been here ever since. I had a phase where I subscribed to so many different booktubers, but dwindled my subscriptions down more and more as my interest changed - however I have stuck with you the whole time. Your videos are such a comfort and feel like such a warm cozy space. Even though it's a different situation, hearing you talk about your chronic pain and other illness struggles makes me feel so okay with my own struggles - I have adhd (and some other health things) and find energy and mood is very up and down, so the way you talk about your own experiences makes me feel not so alone. I love doing your readathons, and love Orilium even more than the old version (I am a huge dnd nerd, so it really appeals to me). I discovered your channel 7 years ago and because English is not my first language (and I was still a kid back then) I understood only 60% of what you were saying hah. But it motivated me to practise and I enjoyed watching your unboxing videos! Chronic lurker reporting in for once, I'm not sure exactly when I found your channel but it was at least one full magical readathon before we moved to Orilium and imo Orilium is amazing and kicks the crap out of the first rounds of the magical readathon (even though I loved those at the time). The creativity and the community of our semesters at school are unmatched and some of my favorite times of the year plus the side quests are so fun.
