80 Cats Vlog (DIY How to make Breastmilk Soap)

Use your breastmilk in different ways than one! Here’s the links to the things and ingredients I used for making the breastmilk soap
Glycerin soap base

The coconut oil and oatmeal flakes I already had in my pantry...
Microwave soap base glycerin 1/2 lb.... 30 seconds first then 10 seconds and another 10 seconds and another 10 seconds til it completely dissolved..
Add some oatmeal flakes to the base of your silicone mold (optional)
Add 1 tsp coconut oil into the soap base
Add 5oz of breastmilk
Add 2-3 drops of essential oil of your choice (optional)
Stir with a wooden stick something you can throw away
Pour the mixture into your molds! Set for as least 20-30 mins best to let dry overnight then Saran Wrap each individual!

The oats whole is fine for the top, but next time put the oats for inside the soap in a blender to make it fine, then the soap wont be scratchy and your skin will benefit from it.

Vianney Flores the glycerin actually preserves the breastmilk. You can put the soap in the fridge but there’s no way you can use the entire soap in one bath sitting! It should be ok mama!

I really want to make some! I have some frozen breast milk stored in the freezer from over 12 months. Can I use that milk ?? How long are these soap good for?? I mean what’s the shelf life?? Please help..I really want to use that frozen milk!!

Tayyaba M. Farooq I think it should be fine and definitely worth the try. Even tho the antibodies from the milk is gone for drinking but the fat that itself that is real actual breastmilk should def still have some of its magic. I think the glycerin preserves it well. So make a small portion and use for your entire family!

Ray Kin I don’t think you need a carrier oil to be honest I don’t even know what a carrier oil is hahahaa

Usually lavender oil is safe on skin. But you can test it. I know coconut oil can act as a carrier oil. So if your worried mix the lavender in with the coconut oil.

How long does it take to dry out???

Kriti Parikh I wrapped each of them separately in Saran Wrap and I gave a lot away and I would think maybe just store room temp is fine the glycerin preserves everything already

Shanti Williams hey mama they last so long cause of the glycerin! It has a preservative that helps sustain breastmilk like a breastmilk pendant jewelry I am assuming it smells good still
