What a great demonstration! I feel confident I can actually do exactly this honey and oat soap.

I want to try it. I already made papaya soap but I wondered why it's not harden enough like the soap that we get from the grocery . But Will try to make it again will see if I can make it better

This is the most understandable video I've watched so far. Thank you so much. How much do you charge per bar?
@scampos6122 ай бұрын
The price I charge depends on the cost of the materials. You need to break down the cost of all your materials, including the shipping cost, and then break down the cost of how much you used to make your product. Once you have that cost, I always multiply by 3 (minimum) to get your sale price.

Loved the video, it looks super easy. I've been thinking of making soap with my daughter as a fun project. Had a question for reference. What size is the coconut fragrance oil in this video? Also, I'm a cat dad with an orange tabby too and I love Nugget.

I love the soap diy. I've been meaning to do this for awhile. You make it look easy - I may finally do it. I really love essential oils and I'd like use them for this. Question: what cool ideas do you have for using all the sturdy, leftover cardboard spools from the ribbons I finished using? I can't seem to throw them out. They're much tougher than paper towel and toilet paper spools. I'm hoping you ll figure out something useful for us to do with them!

I couldn't believe how easy it was to "make" the melt and pour soap either! I'll be doing more tutorials where I color them and use other added ingredients. It's definitely one of my new favorite DIY's. and as for the spools....I haven't found anything YET to do with them. I save EVERYTHING and I have a few myself. I'll look for a cool craft with them!

My soap started setting to quick what did I do wrong ?
@scampos6123 ай бұрын
I don't believe that you did anything wrong. There are many kind of M&P soaps on the market and each one can perform differently. The one I used from Bramble Berry set up so quick that I hardly had time to do additives. The one I got from WSP took much longer to set allowing me to color, fragrance and do all kind of fun stuff. I recommend that you heat the soap a little longer. Make sure not to overheat. Also make sure that the space you are in doesn't have fans going as well because that can make the soap set quicker as well.

Coul i use colloidal oats instead of the regular oats?
@scampos6123 жыл бұрын
I would think so BUT just make sure that they hold up. Make one soap to see how well it performs before making a giant batch.

Hi, I just made the made soap, I love the outcome but it still had the bubbles in it, I sprayed the top and bottom with alcohol so I’m confused on how come the bubbles still appeared?
