I laughed so much. Felt like being in a conversation with mom friends. Please pray for me that I may find christian mom friends too.

This is soooo REAL!!! I wish more talks were like this because I have a 18 month old and a newborn is due in 2 months and feeling overwhelmed so this made me feel less alone!!! Knowing this is the real hard part talking about 2 kids under 4❤❤❤

Found this so encouraging!! There are days that it is overwhelming with just 2 (2 year old & 9 month old) & wonder how do moms have more??!! I love Abbie's motto, "Hard does not mean bad." Keeping that in mind as we move forward!

Adding a third (who we named Abbie) was the hardest until our second set of twins came (#7 lol) but only cuz I already had 14&1/2 month twins (#5). Now we're on #13 due in July!

This is hilarious. When you said how you survive babies that is ME! Currently carrying my 5 month old (baby#5) I was so scheduled, stressed and sleep deprived with my first. It’s so much more relaxed now thank you God!!

Thank you for pointing out how obsessed new parents are about their kids meeting the “appropriate milestones” (I.e. sleep, potty train, learning certain things). I only have 1 child right now, but I sensed this was the case & stay away from social media overload of what you must do to be the best parent ever. I stay home with my child and spend basically every moment with him, but I’m not obsessed with the whole Montessori/baby led weaning whatever parent fad thing is in style. Nothing wrong with wanting to go over the top and do all the extras, but it’s not really my thing and I’m much more relaxed and easy going.

I'm into "Montessori" and have been since I worked in a Montessori school as a teacher 10 years ago. It might be a fad but it's actually super "relaxed" and "easy going"! That's why moms love it.

I realize this video isn’t recent but maybe you’ll still see this question! What is your take on tv? I feel like life goes sooo much better without it but there’s always those seasons where I rely on it. Rainy winter days, new baby in the house so I need it for the big kids, sick days! So how do you find the balance and consistency with saying no, go find something else to do?! I get the fire under my butt and set great limits, then I get lazy I guess! Any tips?

Lisa I totally agree with you. 0 to 1 was my hardest transition as well. And I also can’t imagine how I would cosleep or babywear with twins! My first born has the same name as yours. I feel like we are long lost sisters 😂 This was a great episode

Lisa… it would be so helpful if you included the bloopers at the end of your podcasts or videos… so many moms including myself are struggling with knowing what real motherhood looks like and dealing with perfectionism more than ever because so many of our examples are found online where all the problems of the full day are edited out.

Loved this! I remember when I had my 3rd, a friend had just had her first~twin boy and girl. At one point she had her daughter potty trained but the little boy was not interested. She was so upset because her husband would come home from work and say, "Do not put him on diapers again. Don't even buy anymore diapers or pull ups! He can do this!" I told her that her little guy would get it in time and there aren't too many 12 yo's at school using their pants unless there truly is an issue. They all learn in time. Rushing and shaming the little guy wasn't going to make the process go faster. Like I said, I was a 3rd time mama, so I'd already done the 'he has to learn NOW or I'm a bad mom" thing, so I had perspective that she hadn't experienced yet being a first time mom right in the fray of potty training twins. Great podcast!

What? I think the universe might implode. Just YESTERDAY I was reading a story about a family with 3 sets of twins all with the exact same birthday. Bizarre.
