Those Japanese steel single speed bicycles look really awesome too. Greetings from the states
I am in love with the store and workshop. Years ago, I had a leather work business, and working with leather is a most absorbing activity, almost meditative. The aromas of leathers, dyes, adhesives, polishes, conditioners make for a pleasant workspace that cocoons you from all other places. We see here great mindfulness, particularly in making a bag where the construction will give a long life to it. The lunch looked wonderful a great activity for everyone to relax together and strengthen their bonds. This is a beautiful place to work. ビデオをありがとうございます。オーストラリアから、LONA という企業と革製品のクリエイターに幸運を祈ります。

Fascinating procedure to watch. Very enjoyable, but personally the constant repetitive music is a major distraction, far better to hear the natural sounds of the workplace.

Very good video!!! If I hadn't watched it, I would have never known how many steps there are to making a high-quality leather bag like the one shown. You obviously are very skilled and can take pride in your work. Watching from North Carolina, USA.

I have to say I was sorry to see no hand stitching and such focus on the machines, such as the die clicker, skiver etc. A true hand made bag is literally that, hand made. Hand cut patterns, hole punched for stitching etc. You could see the leather ho slightly out of alignment when going through the sewing machine. Having said that, kudos to her for running a lovely store. Would have been even better without music throughout and ‘alarms’ at the start.
@Baelfyr4 ай бұрын
I really like the videos you produce, the concepts of them are great, and the content shown is amazing, they are peaceful videos, however, I have one complaint that makes them very difficult to watch, and it is the alarm sound every single time you show the time on the screen, it is such a jarring sound that it ruins the mood, ruins the peace and honestly is overused. The bird sounds aren't too bad, but the alarm sound is obnoxious and the videos could really do without it.

Where can I buy the sewing machine drop down alignment device used in this video? Thanks.
Amazing workmanship and materials combined with timeliness designs to make forever products. Wish this was more common, but crappy corporations have ruined that.

I do leathercraft as well, I don't have all those fancy tools, like the bell skiver and industrial sewing machine. These are needed if you want to mass produce items, including the clicker die, and all the metal cookie cutter type dies to quickly cut out your patterns (much quicker than a laser, but the dies are expensive). Her work is impressive, and the end product shows it. The only thing I didn't like was her using the metal hammer on the metal tools. This is a no-no in the leather industry, you'll ruin your punches doing this, supposed to use a rubber or leather mallet. Other than that, I like the work she does. These bags have to cost at least $500, considering the price of things in Japan (I lived there from 90-93) and especially the cost for the leather. I will have to go to her shop now.

It is not a masterpiece or fine art. But good to see that even a non talented person may achieve a decent level of skills to make an acceptable leather good. 👏🏻👏🏻
