1:05:25 - "The Mirror Crack'd" was inspired by the true story of Gene Tierney, who caught German Measles while pregnant, resulting in a baby with serious birth defects. Years later, a woman met Gene, and told her how she was such a big fan that she'd violated quarantine for German Measles, and gone to the Hollywood Canteen just to meet Gene. Gene wrote, "After that, being famous didn't matter at all to me."
