1. "New Year's Rockin' Eve 1984" Intro (Brought to you by 20th Century Fox and Dr Pepper)
2. "New Year's Rockin' Eve 1984" (With Priscilla Barnes from "Three's Company" and Doug Barr from "The Fall Guy" as hosts. Also featuring Culture Club and Dick Clark in Times Square. I love the shot at 4:42 with Dick Clark waving his arms and having the cue card in front of him, it's awesome to see a sort of "behind the scenes" look)

4. TV Spot for "Two Of A Kind" (Another box office and critical flop for John Travolta after a string of unsuccessful films, culminating in 1985's "Perfect"...which performed even worse. Travolta was essentially put in movie jail after that and went into semi-retirement until 1989's "Look Who's Talking" became a surprise hit and reinvigorated his career)

I wonder what Dick Clark thought of this promo airing during his New Year's Eve show?)

This retitle seems to have also applied to TV airings. I would have titled it "Columbo Meets The Lady Wrestlers")

Happy New Year, everyone! 2023 was eventful for me. Got my first job in three years after dealing with health issues the past few years, made some strides toward my dream of being a professional screenwriter by making some connections in the industry who are interested in my work, and my fiancé and I started making plans for our future. 46-years-old, and feel like life is starting for me. I was getting ready to turn eight years old at the end of January. There were so many good acts in 1983 and 1984. Loved Culture Club, Laura Branigan, Rick James, and The Mary Jane Girls.

As someone who regularly visits Manhattan for Broadway Theater trips, it’s fascinating to me to see the old Times Square. Wish I could have been old enough to visit. My first trip to NY wasn’t until 1999 when I was 22. There are so many wonderful productions from the time period I wish I could have seen, as well as just the culture of the city at the time.

While Two of a Kind was a deserved flop, it did have a very successful soundtrack album, with music from Journey, Patti Austin and Chicago. It was more successful than the movie itself.

Whoa, I have seen a shorter version of the Dr. Pepper commercial on a 1984 episode of "American Bandstand." This was my first time seeing a long version.
