I love these commercials. It's awesome to see these commericials I grew up with. I could watch these for hours. Dare I say I can't be the only one who gets lost in these.

This is local for me! I wasn't allowed to watch Sammy Terry (I was 5 when this aired) but his face I'll never forget. I love that the same dude, Paul Poteet, did half of these voiceovers. It's weird seeing the addresses to businesses long since closed. Watson's is now Family Leisure and Paul still does their commercials!

I was encouraged to watch Sammy Terry, he acutally scared me when I was younger, but I ended up loving it.

I'm from the UK, born 1991 and these uploads have made me kinda love Sammy Terry. He way he presents stuff, the demeanor, the performances, that quaint little way he says "Terror" and "George". 10/10, best spooky man. EDIT: "The Invasion of the Bee Girls" is the stupidest title for a horror movie I've ever heard and I love it so much, it doesn't fail to make me laugh, already I can say while I'm THIS early watching this that this is an excellent upload.

He was the man, even for someone like me who was born far too late to see the glory that was Nightmare Theatre. He was still shown every Halloween tho, I distinctly remember watching him after Trick or Treat in 2004, wanting the movie to hurry up so I could get back to watching the weirdo in the green makeup! Didn't realize just what I was watching that night until MUCH later, when Sammy's son took over the role lmao
I loved this show watched it every Friday I actually got to meet sammy

Yay! Another Hoosier volume! Where’s the Love button? 💜 It’s cool when I recognize the streets that are referenced. Love the reference to the Indy 500 by Sammy Terry. I also his little spider buddy, George, and the little Beaker-like noises he made.

Sammy Terry is back from 2017's marathon! Other than that a very Midwestern commercial video here. Between the accents and the 10 second ads! I watched the "Furnurse" guy a few times and that's the best part!

Kinda fun to see what other people look back on for nostalgia. I still wish there were some Halloween themed commercials, though. This is still good.

This and Vol. 710 were included in the Halloween Marathon because they contain ads/footage from local horror hosts. The rest of the videos I'm posting before Halloween were all recorded in October and will contain Halloween and horror related ads.

12:44 - The background music here is "Easy Lover" by Phil Collins and Philip Bailey. No, I have no idea what the song has to do with the WWF. It just proves my theory that you could not escape Phil Collins in this decade. Heck, the only way to avoid him back then was being six feet under. Knowing the era, it was probably a rule for the mortician to put speakers in your casket that would blast his album "No Jacket Required" 24-7.

It was used as the theme song for the first WrestleMania on 3/31/85 about a month before this. It reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February of '85. It was popular.

I was very young (around 5 or 6), but I was lucky enough to catch him in his final years on TV. The movies were usually garbage, but I always looked forward to his segments. (His intro was also very cool.) He had just the right balance of creepy and campy.

3:58 I had to look up to find out it was Brenda Lee rounding out the five. The other four were instantly recognizable. 10:56 Remember when cable companies had pay-per-view Request and Request 2 channels, and Request 2 had lesser-known flops? I’m willing to place bets on where this film was later shown. 15:28 Pretty decent selection of movies. 22:12 I’m not sure how Sammy Terry would act at a baseball field. Probably would make puns about bats.
