You can use a factory tilt column out of a later Hilux (pre 04). Thats what i did to get the steering to work when i body dropped my 82 years ago.

I did wonder about that. Do you retain that flexi plate or you get rid of it? Can you still use the indicator stalk?

@@GimmeDatRice Its kinda easy. I just designed up what I needed and sand blasted the whole thing. There was a lot of tiny pin holes and if I was to do it again I'd probably just make a whole new floor.

Your videos dont help on my insomnia, blood pressure gets higher and higher when your toyota is goin down on the ground. I have dropped -84 long bed hilux, keepin it outside worn but but making interior old skool. Tuck roll dash and seat. Chain steering wheel etc.
