Telling someone to go after blade runners as soon as possible is a good tip. My friend constantly complained about how slow it was and telling him what to do to get runners made the new player experience much better.

Use color coding especially on power poles to differentiate your power grids. This works especially well when combined with switches. Eg. Default color for all normal factories. Green for main grid that the factories connect to, but which otherwise is for long distance power transport. Sub-grids of individual factories connect to this to be able to switch off that whole factory. Red for the power grid of the power production infrastructure such as coal mines and water extractors that feed the power plants. This part of the grid should be either completely standalone and self-sustained with a dedicated power plant, or later on set to top priority when priority switches become available.

#67 Well-intentioned criticism: It's a terrible tip. The coupons are gradually getting more and more expensive. It's not worth buying the parts - you'll have to produce them anyway, and you'll definitely regret wasting the points later. My tip would be: Concentrate on unlocking building parts / symbols in the store. ... #81 Sink a coupon to unlock a useless car #82: Once you have used the creature remains for research, build a factory that turns them into DNA capsules for the sink - they boost your coupon production, especially in the early game Nice vid anyway, like :)
@AimingForGaming11 ай бұрын
I remember a similar tip on Reddit where someone said that you can buy complex items with coupons and sink them to get even more coupons fast, and this tip was so popular and upvoted that I’m still impressed :) I think #67 might be useful for those who don’t care about new materials/walls etc and just want to speedrun, but in general I agree that it might lead to slower ticket acquisition :) I love your tips as well, they indeed bring a whole new layer of coupon fun, thanks for bringing it up! :)
@JulianSloman11 ай бұрын
@@AimingForGaming Don't think that's a real tip anymore, but if it is, it applies only to Turbomotors or something really complex. Those are 8 coupons for 50... Each is worth 242 720 points, so that's 12.1 million points - that said probably still not worth buying just to sink it.

Great tip! Thanks for sharing! :)
@panicwolf85865 ай бұрын
Eventually you'll get all recipes (assuming you don't end up losing hard drives accidentally via falling into the bottomless void), but best ones to get are ones that allow space saving (instead of making another machine to alter rods into screws, alter ingots into screws), though some I'd say aren't that good (Water to make the wet cement is a bit bad when you likely already have plenty of cement being made at a constant, and for so small of power being used for a constructor, making another refinery is dumb, to me at least).
@AimingForGaming5 ай бұрын
@panicwolf8586 getting rid of screws in all recipes is my favourite improvement for sure :)
@panicwolf85865 ай бұрын
@@AimingForGaming I still, to be safe, keep a line of machines to make screws, which go into a storage, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. And if it overflows, even a tiny bit of extra sink insertion is nice (500 per stack means it'll take a decent time to sink it).

@@AimingForGaming nothing wrong with making a new design to see which is most good looking. My first factory had pretty much every machine outside the main building. My new and current one has most inside with various storage rooms (conveyors slightly come out to make it easy to see what each one holds instead of the small signs showing), though I didn't put the buildings into the world grid, so... it doesn't properly connect, and still things are kinda all over the place, so remaking it is likely gonna be a goal to do in the future.
