Modi is awesome. I grew up with Jews since age 4 and his humor is basically history of my life growing up with my life long Jewish friends. It’s non-stop chaos, belly aching laughter, and lots of great memories. Modi is beyond funny in the same level as Jerry Seinfeld, Billy Crystal, and the late, great Robin Williams. Mazel Tov.

This had me in stitches , did a hard ab workout yesterday and laughing this much made it so sore. Growing up in an ashkenaz Community, with Israeli parents, and close circle of Sephardic friends, I have to say modi is SPOT ON with everything. The jokes, the nuances the facial expressions everything was on points. Please don’t ever stop making comedy. Laughing like this is truly therapeutic.

I;m not Jewish but Modi makes me laugh. I picture all of the characters he portrays in his standup comedy routines. Very funny. There are a few cultural quips that go over my head because I didn't grow up in Israel or in Jewish culture but I get the underlining point Modi is making. I think if I had grown up in the world of Jewish culture it would have driven me crazy, such crazy personalitites. But it's clear the members of Modi's audience who are Jewish obviously respond to the fun that Modi is making of their lives. It's good to have a great sense of humor and the world's best comedians are Jewish.

I told a cousin of mine now on the West Coast after I found and enjoyed Mod's Video so much, to look for this Video. As it turned out Modi and my cousin's son went to school together in N.Y. and were friends. Small world, I am from N.Y., wound up in the goyim south, and found Modi by messing around on the computer, I grew up with his style of humor when we had great comedians. He gave me some good Laughs something hard to find these days, I can relate to Modi and his humor.

I listened to this entire stand up and laughed all throughout it. I recently found out my folks are of Jewish decent (Sephardic). When he asked about where the Sephardic Jews were in the audience, I shouted "wooooo" immediately, and then heard those who are also Sephardic in the audience do the same, and his comment about the woo made me howl because I did it instinctively. I come from a loud family, and I go to a shul where they daven Ashkenaz, its interesting because when we get to melodies that are lively, I am the one keeping a rhythm on my siddur, and folks randomly look around. When they see its me, they smile, and try to join in, but its like they can't....they go all stiff. Wooooooo!!!!!

I'm not Jewish but some Yiddish was passed down through my family, as well as alove for the jewish people from a direct relative who worked for a wonderful Jewish family. My relative learned to speak yiddish from this family and apparently taught what they learned to their family. Generations later we still use a small number of yiddish words in our Catholic family. I did learn a lot from this show and laughed my butt off. You sir are very funny and talented.

Im a millennial Jew and i also hide cash around the house! Its so nice to see i am not crazy, i just have inter generational trauma! Also, im from a European community and we had one big synagogue and one smaller one, and during high holidays they would make two congregations, an Ashkenazi European one in the big, newer synagogue (had a hazan and a chorus, which i understand is not typical in American Ashkenazi synagogues) and a Sepharadi congregation in the smaller, older synagogue. While Sepharadic do usually do things longer, during Kippur the Sepharadic were always much faster, so every high holiday my dad would take us to the Sepharadic synagogue. He was close friends with the Rabbi (Ashkenazi), but even he admitted he would prefer going to the Sepharadic one, because the singing in the Ashkenazi one could drag on for way too long. Also during Passover we had all our seder books in the Sepharadic style. We are Ashkenazi but from south America, so its quite the dissonance, having an Ashkenazi family name but the spirit of a Sepharadic!
